“Great breakfast”

It is a pretty nice hotel, couple of nearby restaurants but not much else going on. Neat & tidy, internet fees aren't bad for Europe. Bathroom doesn't have a bath, but otherwise room is good. Breakfast is great though, everything fresh and obviously from real bakeries!

“Not up to normal Best Western standards”

We have stayed in several Best Western hotels and this one was the least impressive. In fact, it is more like a motel, being only two stories (hence no lift, though help was offered for heavy cases) and looking quite tired e.g. carpets in corridors very worn. Mini-bar empty and some advertised facilities e.g. tennis courts seemed to be closed off. But staff were helpful, the room was clean and breakfast adequate. Also ample free parking. Location easy to find off the autoroute, just beyond the SHAPE complex, so convenient for an overnight stop. But several km from Mons itself, where there is another Best Western Hotel, which looked much more like what one would expect from this brand.
