The only thing we wished for was a map in the apartment marking the routes to St. Mark’s Square and another to the Rialto bridge. We were instructed to take a water taxi to Campiello Santa Marina. "Our stay at Casa del Sole was wonderful! Flavia greeted us and explained everything. The apartment was spotless and she provided more breakfast foods/coffee/ homemade jam/ fresh fruits than we could use during our stay. The location is quiet but an easy walk to everything. We can’t wait to return! Sergio and Flavia are great hosts and communicate well."

"The view of the canals was amazing. The place itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here! There is only one thing I want to mention. My kids told me that the couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. Our bed was fantastic though :-) "

"This property is pretty but a bit far away from the main areas and tourist attracts. Night time is very quiet with no one around. It is perfect if you want to be able to walk to the touristy areas in the day and return back to quiet at night. Rooms were large and clean, our room wasn’t modern like in the photos which I was expecting but had a kitchenette and a large bedroom. Staff was very lovely and very helpful! "

"It’s a spacious one bedroom apartment for three of us. We stayed in the Master bedroom and our teen boy stayed in the comfort double soft bed located the living room. There is a good size kitchen and lounge areas. Strongly recommended to a family with 2 kids. "
