Very nice hotel for the price. Great value. Everything was in excellent condition, clean and well kept. Room price was very reasonable, with breakfast included.

Uma maravilhosa experiência em em família
O hotel é maravilhoso, localização e tudo que oferece é tudo muito bom, todos os funcionários maravilhosos, limpeza, tudo ótimo mesmo, tudo que solicitamos foi prontamente oferecido a nós com muita qualidade, apenas uma coisa não achei justo, um serviço extra que pedi para lavar algumas peças de roupas, achei bem alto o valor, mas é só perguntar antes e tá tudo certo. Obrigada a todos do Santa Eufémia Hotel, voltarei com certeza

Very rude staff
What I kept from this stay is the very rude behavior of the staff either at the front desk or at the restaurant. I will never go back there.

Exceptional value
Very friendly service. Very nice hotel lobby, small but very clean and comfortable bed and shower, small balcony with nice view, and very good and complete breakfast. Walking distance to the bus station, steep but 15-20 minute walk to the old centre.

Position in town was good, close to town centre and shopping centre. No restaurant but the associated Tryp hotel just down the road has an excellent restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great experience
Although I had a problem with the booking (that wasn't the hotel's fault, they just didn't have the expedia booking) my experience was great. I would expect a different reaction when I got there and they told me there was no booking with my name, but they quickly tried to solve the problem and although I had dinner and came back before it was solved they did the best they could. The room was comfortable and clean.

Great hotel to vist Serra da Estrela
Location is very good if you want to visit Covilhã or go the the Serra da Estrela. Parking is the only challenge as there are not a lot of places available.

Thank you for your comments. In fact there are a few places to park in the near streets and late evening can be a bit difficult to find a vacancy. We'll keep your remarks in mind.

dissapointing stay in Covilha.
only a one night stay, expensive for a double room with extra bed for a child.(72.50euros!) very cramped, no room to move about once the extra bed put in, furniture moved to make room so could not use anything. bathroom was bigger than bedroom! breakfast room very busy, had to wait for a table, then queue for food, not enough space and tables for the size of hotel. reception busy and not enough staff to help, again, waiting to be seen to. only 1 lift for a large hotel, waited about 10 minutes to take luggage down. used stairs rest of the time as lift constantly full. we were on 3rd floor with a young child, not ideal. overall, we were disappointed with this hotel and would not return, this was the most expensive hotel out of a few different ones we used during a 10 night stay around the north of Portugal. only decent thing, breakfast had a hot option of eggs and bacon, most hotel don't have this. but the long wait and queues didn't help with this, didn't feel as if we could relax and take time with food while a queue of people waiting to be seated. sorry, but this hotel needs improving.

Interesting hillside town
Stayed one night en route to visit the highest point in Portugal a few km away, and so it was a good base. Family room was excellent (2 rooms and bathroom). Good breakfast. The only minor thing was there was no kettle in the room to make a brew, and no apparent facilities in the lobby to make tea/coffee. Easy parking. Great find for a stopover.

O atendimento é excelente, principalmente do Sr. Bernardo. Assustei ao principio com a vista do quarto de frente para uma parede, mas o atendimento, o pequeno almoço, limpeza, superaram a expectativa.

O Hotel tem muito boas condições, é muito confortável, o serviço muito bom, o quarto um pouco pequeno em detrimento da casa de banho, que era bastante grande, mas com muito conforto e higiene. O pequeno almoço poderia ser um pouco mais variado em termos de oferta de produtos.

O hotel é muito bom, simpatia no atendimento, mas zero em cortesia para manter a fidelização do cliente, pedimos umas pedras de gelo porque houve um acidente, bati com o nariz contra o vidro da varanda do quarto, nos cobraram 4 euros por algumas pedras de gelo. Enfim...
