The hotel staff were very helpful during our stay and check-in was easy. They also helped in communicating with a courier to help send some purchases home. The room was very comfortable with fantastic views of the Danube. Breakfast was not included, but we ate out every day anyway, as there are a number of excellent breakfast options nearby. You can get an executive room which includes breakfast if you wish.

Very easy transport links, great views of the river and Parliament with well priced and comfortable rooms. Top place to stay, would recommend it to anyone as it is bang in the middle of all the tourist sites.

Lovely hotel and cant praise the staff enough. Everyone went out of their way to help us. The only grip was the breakfast, for me it was a bit bland and there was only 1 teabag of breakfast tea left at 9.30am Apart from that perfect!

I was a little hesitant to book something called a "Residence" rather than a hotel with a known name. I am glad that I did. This is all the good stuff of a hotel, but better. We ended up coming back to Budapest a second time during our travels, and came back here. The 1BR apartments have a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. The couch in the living room converts nicely into a bed for two more people (don't think hideaway couch - NOTHING like that - very comfortable). The rooms are large, letting you spread out. If you were staying for a month, this would be a perfect place, but it is great for one night, too. The kitchen had all the basics for preparing food - and with The Mamut (mall with grocery store) just a few blocks away - it is a great way to save money on the ever increasing price of dining out in Budapest. Can't overstate how friendly and helpful the staff are. We had a very sick child one night. They helped us find a doctor (who actually came to the hotel) AND let us check out 3 hours late as a result! From start to finish, a great experience.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accomodating, helping us with directions, arranging taxi etc. The best part is the view overlooking the Danube and the parliament buildings. Make sure you get a Danube view - it is spectacular day and night. It is also in the middle of the Castle district so there is lots to see - St. Stephens etc - right outside the door.

This is a really great hotel. It's perfectly placed in the historic Buda Castle district, and the main city of Pest is about a 20 minute walk over the famous Chain Bridge. The hotel is very quiet, and very clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There isn't a restaurant, but that's not a problem as there are some nice restaurants nearby (try the Pest-Buda and 21). They do a reasonable breakfast however in the bar/lounge area.
Overall this hotel was very good value for money, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Castle Hill is off-limits to private vehicles. At the top of the hill lies Fisherman’s Bastion, a 19th-century limestone building with excellent views of the city below. Other sights include the Royal Palace, National Gallery, and the Mary Magdalena Tower. Shops and restaurants also dot the streets.
