The room was clean and comfortable, except for the beds which were far too soft and springy making it difficult to sleep.

Great value!
Pros: -convenient location just outside of downtown Castlegar. -We stayed at the back side of the hotel and found it to be very quiet. -The bedding was comfortable and clean and we were given extra bedding when we got cold. - the free breakfast was very good! A daily spread from 6-9:30 of fruit, bagels, bread, muffins, juice, coffee, tea, individually packaged spreads, cereal, and DIY waffles with berries really surpassed my expectations. - the employees were friendly, professional, and prompt -black out curtains in the rooms Cons: -the doors and desk were in poor shape -the dual heater/AC unit wasn’t super efficient. Overall, I highly recommend SureStay as its clean and excellent value.

Everything went fairly well. Huge room! Small bathroom. Not perfect but good. Great location and room rate. Get better coffee please. And demand that your guests DO NOT run through the halls screaming at 2330 at night when other guests have a 5am schedule the next morning for a hockey game!

We have stopped in Castlegar a number of times while driving East and back. We have stayed at different motels and feel this is one of the better ones. Recently renovated rooms., clean, hospitable.

The rooms were recently renovated, so very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was quite noisy because the walls aren't very well insulated, so we could hear our neighbours walking, etc. Also, the wifi wasn't available in the first room, so we needed to move to another room where we could access the wifi.

Would not give me corporate rate, even though I stayed for 3 weeks on a Fortis job in the area along with several other workers. Room was not cleaned/bed made/towel service etc for days on end even after I had to keep asking at the front desk-then was informed that cleaners have gone for the day .... Excessive Noise at night and garbage was in front of my room door from group of bikers staying at the hotel. Breakfast service was finally moved to an earlier hour to accommodate all the workers staying there who have to leave for work by 6:00am. Kitchen staff was great, front desk horrible.....complained about the toilet not working and was told to leave it even though it was full of feces :-( When complained several times about room not being cleaned, floors dirty, no towels etc I was told the manager is at another location so can't do anything about it-cleaners gone home already.....
