“Just what I expected!”

It was a very comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, the continental breakfast was good and plentiful. They have an excellent restaurant.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of waffles, English muffins, 2 varieties of dry cereals, yogurt, apples, and glazed pastries. Staff is friendly. I would stay again.

“Best Place in Castroville”

Last stayed there a year ago. Great place, great experience, its just that we noticed the upkeep wasn't as perfect as a year ago. A bit of fresh paint on the most traveled doors, sweeping of the sidewalks and fresh plantings would bring things back. The restaurant is in the middle of replacing its floors, We look forward to visiting again when that is done.

“Such a friendly place!!!”

I expected the normal "hotel stay" but, WOW! It's amazing what friendly faces and unique atmosphere will do for you! We drive through this little town several times a year and decided we should extend our trip just to check it out...we were not disappointed!

“Wonderful Stay”

This was a great place! It is a few miles out from San Antonio, but the extra drive is worth it! The room was nice and clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The front desk was very helpful and answered all our questions. The only negative was that our room was closest to the entrance, and as such, right off of Highway 90. But even considering that, the highway noise wasn't that bad.

The hotel was very close to all the amenites that we were wanted to visit. The staff was great, very courteous.

My wife with our 2 children were in Castroville for a family event and we needed a room big enough for us and this was very roomy. The entire stay was great, the hillside view was great and also overlooked the pool. I liked the idea that there was no carpet, just nice tile. The restroom also gave great privacy. I would highly recomend The Hotel Alsace. We will be going back.

The front desk was very helpful as we needed to move our reservation by one day. the rooms were very nice and the view wonderful. The area was quiet and yet close to San Antonio and our destinations. Would definitely go back.

the view was awesome , very quiet , loved the bacony , i would stay there again anytime, but there needs to be some entertainment in that town
