“Great Location”

This hotel was very clean and the staff was great. They were very helpful and went out of their way to please us. The hotel is in a great location! It is a very short walk to restaurants, the water, and shopping. Also, our ride to the airport only took 15 minutes.

“Very Comfortable Hotel”

Hotel itself was very nice. Lovely views over the harbour and sea. Nice bars and restaurants nearby walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned every day and clean sheets, towels etc. Air conditioning was a God send! Breakfast was fantastic choice of food from cakes to toast, cereals, anything you could want. The location was great overlooking harbour and sea views from window. Would have liked a balcony though but didnt matter as there was a lovely open air bar just 2 minutes walk overlooking harbour. Easy access to our favourite places, Acicastello and not too far from train station to Taormina. My partner is from Catania so was easy pick up point for all his family from various parts of Catania. All in all would come again. Only negative was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room but there was fridge with soft drinks etc. Very reasonable rates with the plane tickets as well. Would rate it 9 out 10. We like walking so was very nice walking along sea front all the way to Acicastello and easy walk to train station too.

“Great Value”

I was quite impressed with this hotel. Italy in general is not known for very good hotel service. However, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel and room was very clean and it had gated parking. Staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Beware, it's not very close to the train station/city center and it's definitely not close to the airport.

“Good Hotel”

Great stay ( 2 days ) Good Hotel : nice location ( seafront ), very well connected to the most important ways ( Taormina/Catania etc. ) , Good Wireless Connections, very frindly staff: I will definetively come back !

“Great value”

Is a bit removed from things, so need transportation of some sort. Buses were trying as they didn't have English at all.

“crazy , chaotic city”

good location , free secure parking - rented a car stolen the next day , good breakfast IDEA hotels network on Sicily previously belonged to the Holiday Inn, samll rooms
