“A Great Stay”

My husband and I went to Catania as part of our honeymoon. The Katane Palace is a hidden jewel in Catania main centre. Only a few minutes walk from the buses and train station it is close to everything. The room was wonderful, the bathroom lovely and the staff courteous and helpful with guides and maps. The buffet breakfast and hotel restaurant were high quality and we ate very well - we felt very looked after and would stay there again. The only thing I could advise is to take your own pillows if you don't sleep well when they're flat and hard!! Otherwise a fantastic stay.

We covered the island of Sicily in two weeks and Katane Palace was the best place we stayed at. Rooms are top notch and service friendly and efficient. HIghly recommend it.

The hotel staff is very accommodating, helpful and and informative. The hotel and rooms (We were there on 2 separate occasions.)were spotless and lovely. The food, including dinner, breakfast and cocktail snacks, was excellent. The outdoor courtyard was lovely for dinner and/or cocktail time.

“Beautiful Hotel”

Unfortunately, we were only here for one night and didn't get to the breakfast buffet as we had a very early flight out. The hotel is quite beautiful and has a relaxing air about it. The dining room and bar are very attractive and service very good. Our room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom - plenty of room for suitcases and a variety of bags. Very nice - I wish we had been there longer.

We stayed at Katane Palace for 5 nights. Classic case of "don't judge a book by it's cover', when we pulled up outside I was a bit dissappointed. However when we stepped inside it was a gem! Beautiful marble floors through the hotel and our bathrooms, a lovely courtyard, overall,the whole place was very pleasant to be in. The staff were always helpful and spoke english very well, gave us maps and direction to where ever we wanted to go. I found the beds a bit hard but thats a personel thing, they were of a high standard. The room was a good size and had a balcony', soft drink in the mini bar were complementry. Breakfast was of very high standard. Drinks and food was a bit expensive but there are plenty of restaurants and food outlets in easy walking distance. Easy walking distance to the bus station.

Clean and well located hotel. Upon arrival my car was valet parked in the hotel garage. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and extremely pleasant. When the shift changed they communicated our needs to the next shift so that fulfilling our requests were seamless. Breakfast is served in an lovely dining room. I highly recommend this hotel!

“Delighted with our stay”

The Katana Palace looked very inviting in the website photos, and it turned out to be even better in person. We visited Catania at both the beginning and the end of a two-week vacation Sicily, and we stayed in two different rooms - both were spacious, comfortable, clean and VERY quiet. Breakfast in the pretty courtyard, scented with jasmine, was a delightful start to the day - I especially enjoyed the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The hotel provides Wi-Fi for a small fee, and there is also a computer (available for use with no charge) in one of the public rooms on the ground floor, so it was easy and convenient to check email every day. We ate dinner one night in the hotel's restaurant and throughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend the Katane Palace and would definitely stay there again.

“Good hotel, good location, good value.”

The location is brilliant, just a 5 min walk away from the main street and park. they also replenish your free mini bar every day so you always have nice water in the room which is good. However I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and this is not provided (they do give you nice soap and a shower gel/shampoo but I wouldn't recommend using it). The hotel restaurant is also amazing and well worth a visit! The only problem we had was that our room was quite hot and the air con didn't seem to work - however we never asked for help so I don't know that for sure. We opened the balcony door and that worked to cool the room.

Very comfortable room although when windows were shut it was very stuffy Hotel well placed to access shops trattorias & public transport Staff were all very helpful & there was an excellent breakfast included in the deal
