Don't stay here!!!

Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Close the whole complex and renovate and then re-open.
We booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and did not have a 2 night a minimum as we were only staying one night. We arrived at night and it was dark and had tried to book this hotel after we did and couldn't because it was full??? So we paid and dove around to the back lot which was I thinking had to have cars in it. Ours was the only one. The man at the desk told us there would be many people arriving at 11:00. It was really creepy being the only people in the hotel and my daughter and I slept with out cooler in front of the door and a hammer under the pillow. A couple of rooms of people did come around 11:00 but were gone by the time we left in the am. The room was dirty and smelled moldy. It is a motel that they was trying to make into an interior corridor hotel. The hotel is a huge complex but there is only a small area that is open now.

I hope this hotel tries to improve

I wondered if the hotel was under construction. The hallway outside the room was concrete; very loud when anyone walked by. The room had practically nothing in it: no alarm clock, nothing to make it cozy or homey. The bathroom had a broken fixture (heat vent?) and the bathtub drain did not close. There is a bar on the premises and patrons woke us up throughout the night. We couldn't wait to leave and were thankful that we only booked the room for one night.

Don't expect more than a place to sleep

Posted Aug 1, 2012
Just plain tacky - outlets that don't work; bulbs missing, carpets stained or removed; dingy; wrinkled linens; and restaurant bar that was closed on Sat night cause chef was sick. If you need a place to sleep, it was OK - otherwise, drive past.

Location: Good location for the wedding we were attending.
Unfortunately the hotel is in the process of renovations, so it didn't look very good in the walkways. We were on the 2nd floor (no elevators). We were at the top of the stairs and we could hear everyone as they came up or down the steps. Each room had a large window that was right along the walkway. Could be a little scary for women traveling alone. Also, the only ice and vending machine area was downstairs next to the office. We had to ask for a remote control for the TV. Fortunately, the room and bedding were clean.

An OK Place to Stay if You Have Too

Posted Jul 31, 2012
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: No hot water in the morning.
The room was OK. It was clean and comfortable. We did have two problems. There was no hot water when I went to take a shower. I did call the desk and they told me there was a problem with our section of the hotel. I did not have time to wait for the problem to be resolved. When I went to make coffee in the morning I found that the supplies had not been replenished and the coffee pot had not been emptied. This is a small issue but it was inconvenient. The hotel was not cheap and we stayed there because there were no other hotels in the area. This hotel is OK to stay at if you have to but I would have to rate my experience as fair at best.
