In my honest opinion
A very pleasant Italian experience. Ease of transport to Venice via Punta Sabbioni (public transport and excursion boats) which is 5 bus stops (2 euros) from Ca'Savio. I highly recommend the excursion: Murano - Burano - Venezia.

Enjoyed the Beach Town
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The location was lovely. It was the off season so we had to walk a little more to catch the bus but it wasn't to bad. The beach was super close and the pools looked fun but we didn't get a chance to try them. The bed was a little hard but the is not unusual (we have found) in Europe. Would recommend to a friend and would stay there again. My daughter loved the beach.

Great location, bit remote for getting to boats over to Venice but plenty of buses. Surroundings lovely and staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely get away close to Venice but relaxing
Just returned from Italy. This hotel is ideal for everything especially if you want a relaxing break away from the hussle and bussle of Venice but only 30 mins water taxi away. The beach at hotel and all surrounding areas lovely and sea safe for bathing with very gently sloping beaches. The coastline has lots of lovely places to vcisit and lots of local restaurants all offering good value for money and within walking distance. Make sure you go to see Burano which is a beautiful island made up of small streets and canals with brightly coloured houses. The hotel staff all very friendly and helpfull. The hotel has lovely relaxing areas under the trees where you can chill out and relax.

Romantic and Far from Venezia's hustle bustle
We stayed at the Valdor during our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago. Our two night stay was a pleasant one and I would recommend this hotel for that amount of time. LOCATION: It can take close to 45 minutes to get to San Marco in Venice from the hotel (5 min walk to the bus station, take the #5 bus to Punta Sabioni, take the ferry to San Marco), so if you're okay with that this is very nice and quiet location to set up camp in. There are signs clearly stating where the hotel is as soon as you start walking down the street from the bus stop. The hotel is also located at about 5 min walking distance from the hotel. COMFORT: The hotel itself is about as old school as it gets. A key is used to lock the door from inside as well as outside, there is a tiny TV on top of the cupboard, a very tiny bathroom (probably the tiniest I've ever seen). A lot of that is negated by the nice balcony and the beautiful view of the pond in the hotel's backyard with a couple of swans. Breakfast and wifi were not free. I did not eat breakfast there, but did use the wifi which was very weak. It's best to just to take your laptop downstairs closer to the router and watch the swan while surfing the web. SERVICE: The staff seemed very nice though it would have been nice if someone was available after hours if needed. Overall a very good experience if you don't mind walking, taking the bus, and then the ferry to get to Venezia.

Holiday Center Valdor - Excellent for Venice
Just 30 mins by water bus to Venice, this place is economical and well appointed. Private car park, private beach, gardens, close to small village. A very pleasant stay.

Familiäre, erholsame Atmosphäre am Rande Venedigs
Wir waren im August 2018 für eine Woche im Hotel Valdor. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen, besonders für Familien und Paare. Wer Action sucht, wohnt hier vielleicht etwas zu ruhig. -Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und sprachlich gut ausgebildet. -Die Economy Zimmer waren nicht gerade modern, aber funktional eingerichtet. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gründlich gereinigt, Klimaanlage vorhanden. Viele Zimmer mit Balkon. -Das Frühstück (10€) in Buffetform war umfangreich und lecker, ebenso zu empfehlen war das Abendessen, bestehend aus Salat, 2 Gängen und einer Nachspeise. Die Halbpension kostete pro Person und Tag 25€, ich würde das Geld investieren;) Auch das Getränkeangebot an der Hausbar ist gut und preislich völlig im Rahmen. -Das Hotel hat einen eigenen, gepflegten Strandbereich mit Schirmen und Liegen, die gratis genutzt werden können, wenn man eine Woche Urlaub macht. Auch ein Pool ist vorhanden, dieser befindet sich auf dem Gelände des angeschlossenen Camping-Platzes, ebenso wie eine Strandbar. -Für Kinder sorgt das Animationsteam bis in die Abendstunden für Beschäftigung und Unterhaltung. -Das Hotel ist ideal, wenn man den Venedig Besuch mit einem Strandurlaub kombinieren möchte und vielleicht ein bisschen ruhiger unterwegs sein möchte, als am Lido von Venedig. Wir können das Hotel wirklich empfehlen! Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub.

Hôtel idéalement situéagréable et très propre
Site calme, reposant, avec grand jardin, terrasse et plage de sable privée; bonne cuisine; endroit idéal pour accéder au port de Punta Sobionni menant à Venise par bâteau, évitant ainsi la cohue, l'attente et le centre ville.

Für einen kurzurlaub war das hotel gut. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber wir waren eh den ganzen tag am strand - dafür hat es gereicht. Die duschkabine war etwas dürftig da danach das komplette Bad nass war. Aber es war sauber. Das frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut...man hatte wirklich viel Auswahl und es wurde ständig alles aufgefüllt...Top! An der Rezeption waren sie sehr freundlich.

gut angekommen und geschlafen. Leider nur in einem Zimmer und nicht wie gebucht in zwei. Das Valdor ist ein gut geführtes Hotel mit etwas Patina und einer gewissen Wildromantik die auch zu den 80ern paßt. Mir hats gefallen, auch wenn ich mit 44 normalerweise nicht mehr mit meiner Frau Mutter das Zimmer teile.

ruhig in einem schönen Garten gelegen
es wird für die Strandliegen extra verrechnet, wenn man eine 3. Liege (3-Bettzimmer) haben möchte, muß man einen extra Schirm bezahlen oder bekommt nur einen Liegestuhl. Zum Strand geht man durch den Garten und die Dünen. Parken ist inkludiert. Man bekommt umfangreiche Auskünfte wie man zB nach Venedig kommt. Frühstück ist auch extra zu bezahlen, allerdings für Italien sehr umfangreich Zimmer ist sehr altmodisch eingerichtet, die Aircondition funktioniert tadellos. Am Balkon hat es trotz 3 Bettzimmer nur 2 Sessel gegeben.

Ein toller Kurztrip in die Sonne (2 Nächte). War alles gut außer den Duschen am Strand (nur mit Karte zu aktivieren und es kam nur ein kleines Rinnsal!!!) und den teilweise defekten Liegen.

Vi boede 3 dage her med halvpension, og det var rigtig hyggeligt. God mad, fin strand og pool. Fred og ro - og alligevel med byliv kun en lille gåtur væk. Et sted vi sagtens kunne finde på at besøge igen.

Met de fiets van het hotel naar Venetië
We genoten van ons verblijv in Valdor. De kamer was OK, de bediening en personeel schitteren, de tuin heel mooi en 's avonds een ideale ontmoetingsplaats. Het ontbijt heel treffelijk, maar elke dag gelijk en de broodjes waren niet vers. Het hotel bood ook fietsen aan (7€/dag of 20€/week): ideaal om van daar naar Punta Sabione te fietsen en de boot naar Venetië te halen. Naar de boot lopen zou echt wel ver geweest zijn. Geen topfietsen, maar erg bruikbaar. Het hotel had een mooi open lucht zwembad en een brede strandstrook recht aan zee. Dus... Valdor biedt alles aan voor een culturele en ontspannende vakantie.

Un weekend end de trois jours à Venise , accueil sympathique mais avec des chambres datant des années 60 avec de très petites salles de bain et sentant le moisi , un ventilateur bruyant. 16 m2 qui font au maximum 9m2. Un petit parc agréable avec une marre et des cygnes.

Egy nagy bajom volt, az pedig a szoba mérete. Bár nem sok időt töltöttünk benne, de azért lehetett volna nagyobb, kényelmesebb (triple bedroom). A másik probléma az étkezések árszínvonala, nagyon drága. Ha az ember szállodába megy, elég nagy ciki ha ezen kell spórólni.

Sehr gute Lage. Nur durch den Campingplatz (Pinienwald) vom hoteleigenen Strand getrennt. Gute Gastronomie in der Nähe und kleine Marktstrasse in Cavallino-Treporti quasi vor der Haustür.
