“Breath-taking Views”

Two thumbs up! The hotel's location was great.All rooms offer magnificient view of the Taal lake. From the moment we get in to the room, i knew everything is in order and prepared meticulously. i hope they cn improve on their complimentary breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

everything is okay except for the food. am sorry to say but its not worth the price we pay. for fellow travelers the place is really okay but to satisfy your hungry stomach just go to the many nearby restaurants...

“Very nice view of taal lake”

The on site restaurant is convenient to have specially when it is stormy and rainy.

Bar was poor and no drinks in the room food was good though but you have to pay for breakfast

“Great View”

I stayed for 3 nights at Days Inn Hotel,and it isnt the best hotel in Tagatay but it was very comfortable with a fantastic view over the lake towards the volcano.The room had everthing you needed for a comfortable stay,also had 2 queen size beds (bonus) also the breakfast was great,with an excellent view also.All rooms have this view and honestly,when you wake in the morning and take in this magnificent view,well it is breathtaking.There is also a pool for those stifling hot days which is a welcome relief.For the money this hotel is very much worth every dollar

“Nice View”

Hotel needs a little retouch but the room was great. Jacuzzi didn't work at first but the maintenance people came to fix it immediately. Room service took too long though and required several follow-up calls. Front desk people were nice. This guy, forgot his name (probably was in charge with PR or something because he seems to be everywhere and greeted everybody although informally), was nice at first in letting us know about the acoustic band that will be playing that night and about the food menu in the hotel restaurant, but the constant presence and interjection during private conversations over dinner was simply annoying. Food wasn't too terrible however it was expensive for the price they charge. Overall a nice experience with the exception of that PR guy.

“did not live up to billing”

The only thing spectacular about this hotel was the view. Rooms are small,bathroom smaller. Smokers in and around the lobby were annoying. For most part staff very friedly although I did not understand why I had to pay for a third towel when my reservation was for 2 rooms. 1st room 2 adults,2nd room 2 adults,1 child. Three people only 2 towels with charge for # 3.

“Better than expected”

After reading other reviews of this hotel I was not optimistic but our stay there was very pleasant. In comfort level it is a typical mid-range chain hotel. Not luxurious but suited us very well. The staff were helpful, the room was comfortable, with a balcony and a great view over the Taal lake and volcano. Breakfast was on the low side of average but we had snacks in the lobby one afternoon and they were quite good. Plenty of good restaurants a short "tricycle" ride away. 7-11 store within walking distance Hotel is expensive for what it is but it is in a prime location and they charge what the market will bear, particularly at the weekend. You may do better negotiating directly particularly if you can get the peso rate.

“Not Impressed”

It took about 1.5 hours to check in. They will not take Expedia confirmation number. They keep on asking for a paper confirmation. Even when I showed them the E-mail showing a confirmation and paid booking from Expedia, they will not allow me to check-in. It is very frustrating moment for me. One lady at the front desk said it is ok. Another guy said it is not. He want to charge my credit card more than what the Expedia site says. I will not recommend this hotel.

“A Basic Hotel with a Good view”

Like expected of Days Inn, it is a basic hotel. The room was as expected, nothing special, if ever it could use some brightening, but the view in the breakfast area was awesome. The pool area and grass area were also above average and so was the view from the rooms. The free breakfast was also above average.
