Four day stay in superior room, May 2015. Four star hotel in downtown Cebu City with a five star hotel service attitude. All staff I encountered were friendly, pleasant and always willing to assist. While not a new hotel, the Lex is well maintained. Our room on the 9th floor was clean, comfortable and quite modern in appearance. When traveling, my GF and I tend to request room service frequently, as we did during our stay at the Lex. All meals were delivered to our room on a timely basis and prepared as requested. The menu itself is adequate with a variety of traditional Pinoy, other Asian and western choices. Maybe the preparation of the menu items themselves could use a bit more imagination. All in all I would certainly not hesitate to recommend the Lex to my friends and family on their next visit to Cebu City. My only regret is not finding the time to visit the rooftop pool. Next visit for sure!

It was everything and more that one would expect for an upper echelon hotel in the Philippines. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the amenities were immaculate, the room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. It'll be the first place I look if I return.

I love the location. It's actually on top of a mall which is cool for eating and stuff. And it's at a roundabout which has like a casino and other things like that. More food places and it's about a block away from a laundromat which I liked. I live getting my clothes washed for me.

Cebu City is the largest city in the Visayas. The harbor and ferry terminals are in the south of the city, as is Fort San Pedro. Colon Street, to the north, is the oldest street in the Philippines. A large Taoist temple in the Beverly Hills neighborhood overlooks the city.
