“Nice Hotel…Excellent Location!”

I stayed here for 2-nights and have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I would stay here again.

“Value for Money in Cebu”

This hotel is in the category of very good value for money. It is probably a 4 star hotel in the traditional 5 star system. Its location adjacent to the Ayala shopping mall offers a wide variety of dining and shopping options.

“Its OK but”

The Maid service could be a little more cleaner such as wiping bedstand tables off and tothpaste in the bathroom.

“A two week stay in Cebu”

We stayed in this hotel in Sept 05 for two weeks. I found both the hotel and its staff to be clean, friendly and helpfull. The Maid service was always good and there was no problems leaving valuables out in the room whislt we where out. The food in the restaurant was good quality and plentiful we even got free wine on occasion! there is a lounge bar with piano music and an outside bar pool area that you can also eat at. The hotel is situated right next to the Alaya Mall that offers a wide selection of quality shops and fine eateries. And there is a very good system of very cheap Taxis avaliable from the front doors of the hotel ( ie hotel to airport 25mins 1-47(pounds)!!!) For all those of you wanting to (bring a friend) for the night or longer the hotel staff are very accomodating and there are no 'raised eyebrows'. Overall I will be returning to the Marriott in Cebu. We had a good and relaxed holiday.

“Great hotel but the rooms are dusty”

The hotel was great but the rooms were very dusty. Its right in front of ayala mall with plenty of places to eat and shop.

“Great Value”

Hotel room was very clean and staff was helpful in packaging a guitar for shipment to Hawaii so as to protect it from damage during transit.

“Great place to stay in Cebu, near Business Park and Mall”

The holtel services were great,and the customer service was fantastic. The hotel is very convient. It's near the business park and the heart of cebu. Private services such as dry cleaning,massages are very expensive,so use the local shops in the mall behind the hotel. Customer service is very good,They overcharged me for washing my clothes and I protested it and they took 15% off my bill. They will work with you. Also keep in mind security is tight. You will be scaned,and your bags checked each time you visit the hotel,malls,banks,stores etc..........

“extras”

I was a little taken back when i was asked to make two deposits to cover extras. I was told by check-in at time of checkin that i was to receive breakfast as part of room. After two mornings i was asked to deposit extra mmoney to cover cost of meals. These prices were 5 times the outside prices and there were charges for everything including water. you need to clarify what you are charging for on check-in not during stay

“A nice hotel, but expensive after you arrive!”

The hotel is very nice, just as clean and comfortable as a US Marriott. It's location right next to the Ayala shopping centre is extremely convenient. The room price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the hotel. BUT everything is expensive after you arrive, including meals and drinks, but particularly internet access - the most expensive I've come across in the Ph - maybe anywhere!
