“air condition problems”

Westayed for two nights. It was one of many hotels we used during these 20 days. It was too small very unconvenient but the worst was a very old aircondition which seemed to do what it wanted and turned off without a good reason in the middle of the night. When i complained they were very polite and promissed to do something about it, but nothing happend, probably because they could not do anything with that thing... i didn't sleep for 2 nights.

Bryce and zion canyons. Be very careful about road 14 which was completly ruined and closed. Cost us 1 hour to brgce c

“Needs work.”

Like many travel facilities it is located too close to the freeway. Noise is a problem. Renovations appeared to be in progress.

“Pleasant experience”

We were quite comfortable with the hotel. It is very convient, right off the freeway exit and very close to town. Cedar City isn't very big so being close to the "main drag" was nice. The hotel staff were very polite and attentive. The complementry breakfast was quite good on the weekend, however it went down hill from there, though no very much (we stayed fri night as well as sun & monday nights). Over all we were quite pleased with the entire experience

“Nice hotel for the money”

We would stay here again on our next trip through the area. Very convenient, clean, and easy. The restaurant attached was good. We travel with our yellow lab so a big part of our requirements is a pet friendly hotel with an outdoor area for dog walking. This one rated pretty well.

“Great room & service -- terrible breakfast!”

I chose this hotel because of their full breakfast buffet, but a decent continental would have been better! The room was very clean and comfy and the staff very friendly, and the lobby is large and comfortable. But the breakfast was dismal and the restaurant downright dirty, with sticky floor and tables and thick layer of dust on the backs of the booths. They served eggs and sausage, both of which were undercooked and inedible. But worst of all was that there were zero choices for someone who wants to eat healthy--no oatmeal, only white bread and sugar cereal, stale sticky danishes, and canned pineapple and peaches. I would have been happy with a slice of whole wheat toast, but no! So my advice would be to enjoy the room, but eat breakfast elsewhere.

Theater lovers--Don't miss the Utah Shakespeare Festival, which is one of the best in the country. There is also a Neil Simon Festival on Main Street, which features very talented young professional actors as well.

“Nice place to stay”

Simple, clean & convenient. Kids loved the pool. Mom liked the hot tub and dad liked the price. Will definately stay here again when we pass through Cedar City.
