I’d say about 50 years ago this place was amazing. But now?? Nah. But honestly for $60 a night? You get what you get. The bar on site is cool

Terrible experience
We paid for a two night stay. After the first night we decided to check out early & leave. Wall were thin, we could hear a guy talking in the room next door all night. It appeared that a family was living there. Kids had bicycles that they rode along the balcony along with a big dog going in & out of their room. A rotten pumpkin sitting outside the room & overflowing ashtrays sitting outside. Covers were off the air units & were laying on the sidewalk where we had to step over. Very disappointing & we wasted money on a second night that we didn’t get to use.

Wasn’t bad, but the non smoking room stunck ! It smelt like cigarettes. If rooms could get cleaned better,would be nice place. We had a great time at the bar, and the front desk staff were very friendly and nice!

A good thing it had cool did not use it. But it had one bad thing. It was infested with roaches. And it was dirty, not clean.

It sucked it was hot the hole time the room we was in was hot ! Ac didn't work.. and they charged me a 50 deposit that I still have not received back . And when I call and ask them about it they say if I paid with a card they don't charge a deposit witch is a lie because my total way 217 but card was declined until I put 50 more $ on it and was charged 267 and still not back on my card.. sucks would not recommend them at all ..

We stay in Athens pretty frequently as we have friends and family there. This was however our first time staying here. The staff was first rate. The property is undergoing a remodeling project, but that didn't create any inconvenience for us. We will likely stay here again.

It’s lite kinda well but kinda strange parking. Our rooms didn’t get cleaned so they had to change our room. Then we got locked out of our room had to get the owner to open it.

Uncomfortable stay
This was a last minute decision to stay in town for the womens bowling travel league. Most hotels were full. The customer service was nice , but the amenities needed some upgrades. The room had 2 lamps for the lighting and one was broke. So hardly any lighting. The door was missing portions at bottom where flies could come in room and I could see footsteps. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable .

Low standards
The man at check in was very nice but all downhill from there. The room was not clean and smelled really bad from cigarette smoke. We loaded our clothes back in the car and left. This hotel has a long way to go but appears the owner is trying. I didn’t even try to get my money back even though he might have given it back.

Way too much pine-sol used. It was overwhelming to relax, mixed with cigarettes and pot. The television service was outdated and analoged, so there wasn't anything we could watch. The ice machine was ridiculously far. In the middle of the lobby and downstairs. Overall, it was just a place to stay for 8 hours and get out. But I will probably will not return. I would rather pay extra for a cleaner stay.

This was a nice place for a reasonable price motel. The room was a little dated but overall clean and everything worked. It was good place for a work trip.

Good customer service
The room was clean, but since there is a bar off the lobby, the smell of stale smoke in the lobby and hall outside the room was very strong. The parking lot was very full from the bar on Friday night, so i parked a long way from the lobby despite having a handicapping placard. I had puppies with me, with a heavy crate, but there were no first floor rooms available. However, the clerk who checked me in offered to help with the crate, and she did so off the clock. The gentleman who checked me out also helped me bring the crate down and was very pleasant.

Tammy, Rahu and the night shift desk clerk went out of their way to help us have a convenient room for my disabled sister, helped us to the room, carried our bags for us and made us feel welcome after a 10-hour drive in a rainstorm. They went beyond the call of duty to make us comfortable and it was incredibly impressive to meet staff who were so compassionate and caring!!!!
