“A very special hotel”

The previous guest must have been very tired. This hotel just replaced all new furniture; all brand-new appliances, pillowtop beds (so comfortable!) and flat screen TVs and black leather couch. The TVs were not taped together; it's the plastic wrap from the new TVs still intact around the edges of the screen. I guess they left it on to protect as long as possible. I thought the towels were cute. The whirlpool is green so there was one solid green towel as an accent but all their towels were white with just a green stripe to match. The also have a hand towel with a letter matches your last name initial. I have never seen any hotel that does that; so personal. The room is so clean. all the rooms have a nice size balcony and my room got a whole kitchen with breakfast bar. The room is so large even for a suite; separate bedroom, livingroom, whirlpool and balcony. It's the next closest on to downtown/university but the price is so much cheaper than downtown hotels.

“loved it, so much.”

Much nicer than anything comparable. Mine was nonsmoking, had a balcony (great for a smoker who doesn't want to stink up his or her living space), a whirlpool tub which worked fine, a nice tv with HDMI compatibility (so plugging in your laptop is easy as pie), a FULL size refrigerator and kitchen, another tv in the bedroom, etc.

“Review”

The only downside was that we couldn't find the control for the furnace. Thankfully it wasn't terribly uncomfortable. My only complaint is with Expedia for booking a room on the 3rd floor of a hotel with no elevator for Me, my Father and my WHEELCHAIR BOUND mother. What was I supposed to do? Carry her up the stairs on my back??? The hotel found us a room on the first floor but we did have to wait for it to be cleaned. I understand they are short handed.

“Very Average Motel”

Nice motel for a very reasonable price without anything special to rave about.

“Worst place I have ever stayed”

I have stayed at hotels and motels all over the place. Some have been very nice. Some have been o.k. This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. This place is absolutely frightening. There was a peculiar odor in the hall. The smell in the room was worse. The carpet is old, dirty and rippled in several places. The doors on the rooms had to be jimmied just to get them to lock. The t.v. was taped together. Some towels were white, some were cream colored and some were dark green. It never occurred to me before, but the prospect of using a dark green towel in a very dirty hotel is very unnerving - me made due with other towels. The only reason we stayed after opening the door to the room was because we checked in very late and were not able to find another place to stay.
