hard to find pet friendly hotel

Pros: Great staff very friendly. Easy access. Awesome breakfast
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Easy access and great attached restaurant
We travel a lot with our 2 dogs. It is very hard to find a pet friendly place that accepts people who are passing through town needing a good nights sleep, with their pets. We usually pull in late, and check out early so we are not there that long. This place made us feel very welcome.

One night staying for Winter Iowa Games 2015

Pros: Clean, comfortable, calm, non-smoking and friendly environment.
Cons: An included good English breakfast would be a nice addition.
Location: Very close to Ice Rink, easy to find from interstate.
We looked for a nice, comfortable and calm place to have rest before competition at Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The Best Western Cooper's Mill Hotel was the right hotel for our small family of 2 adults and one teen. Everything was wonderful and it was comfortable and quiet as we expected.

Great Place

What a pleasant surprise. Cooper's Mill was a great place to stay. Centrally located for our visit with friends in CR. The people working at the hotel were great and the king size room over looking the river was perfect. We would stay again! The only thing we would do differently would be to bring our own pillows. Their were fluffy and soft but, too soft. We loved that the hotel has a bar and restaurant. We had a good breakfast.

Too noisy

Very noisy. Two nights in a row th people next to me were blaring music. Called the front desk but the music never quieted down. Th second night when I called I was told the music was from the bar right below my room. If it really was that then they need to turn it down, cause my headboard was shaking it was so loud.

Very nice motel close to downtown.

Pros: The friendly staff. Coffee available when you wanted it. Clean rooms.
Location: Very near The US Cellular Center and downtown. Museums very close.
We stayed one night. Good food at the restaurant with fair prices. We received a 20% discount coupon for breakfast the next morning. Everyone from the manager to the waitstaff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean with a small frig and microwave. Coffee was available in the lobby all the time. Just 4 blocks from our evenings entertainment. If we are up that way again we will stay there. Overall a good experience.

Above and Beyond service!

Absolutely loved our stay! The bartender Maria went over and above with her service! The desk clerk called aa cab for us and was very friendly upon check in and the girl at check out was wonderful also! Great food in the restraunt with good service also!
