“OK for the money”
Easy access from the freeway, but not the best neighborhood. Close to downtown, attached restaurant is pretty good. Plenty of parking. Good room, good amenities.
“Best Western Cooper's Mill”
The hotel has been newly remodeled following the devistating floods of 2008. The view was wonderful overlooking the cooper pond and Quaker Oats. The rooms were clean. The restaurant has not reopened as of yet.
“Nice hotel with reasonable prices.”
This is a very acceptable hotel for travelers that want a clean and comfortable room along with easy access to ammenities such as a restaurant and bar. Courteous people in every area.
“Very friendly staff”
Very quiet. The staff was so nice. I liked the fact that you could open the windows (even if only about 3 inches) The breakfast was the usual, but very nice.
“I would stay again”
I didn't realize how affected the area was to the flood. But the area is coming back to it's normal views because when I booked the hotel i saw pictures and when I got there it wasn't the same. But I decided to stay anyways, my room was nice the bed wasn't too comfortable but it was manageable. The room was clean everday (stayed 4 days ) The second night I was there the elevator got stuck for about 5-10 min. ( I laugh now ) But the hotel handled the situation right away! I would stay again.
“Good stay in Cedar Rapids”
Very satisfied
“Comfortable”
Nice place, just a little pricey, even for Expedia. Comfortable. Nice people.
“Good value”
The room was neat and clean, but not extraordinary. The staff was friendly. We would stay there again. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not yet open when we stayed there, but should be shortly. We stayed 7 days and would stay again.
“Worth another chance”
Recently updated, so the rooms were clean and comfortable. Only problems we experienced were that the maids failed to clean the room and the wireless Internet access wasn't strong enough to hold a connection. It will be great when/if the restaurant next door opens.
“I stay here often when in Cedar Rapids.”
The neighborhood is safe, though because of the flood (2006) looks run down. Good location once you know how to get through the Cedar Rapids streets. We stay here often when in town to visit our daughter. Decent prices w/ third party (E xp edia, hotels dot com etc) and the resturant is in the building.
