Stopover on a road trip. Convenient location to highway exit. We arrived tired & hungry. Check in was quick. Walked to the restaurant adjoining the hotel & had an excellent reasonably priced dinner. Nice hot shower & comfortable bed made for a great night sleep

People were nice, easy check in. They missed a beer can from the last guest on the floor…. I tried to tell guest services when we left- there was a sign they had to step away. I left after 15 minutes.

Our room was actually in the basement (level 1). We walked a long hall past HUGE laundry rooms and maid quarters. Inconvenient access for travelers. Bed was good, bathroom floors needed a good scrub as well as room (found someone’s sock under heat register. Still, we would go back - just not in the basement!

Overall, I would stay again. It’s very clean. Staff is very kind. And hot breakfast is as expected. Bathrooms could use a update. Otherwise it’s a clean standard room.

Many if the tv stations didn’t work; I wanted to watch college football and Iowa wasn’t on! When I called down they said I was the 2nd guest to call and they don’t get all of the games. Very disappointing.

The hotel itself is very nice. Bed was a little too firm for our tastes and the tv was a little slow to respond when trying to view guide but otherwise fine. There is a lot of road construction just south of the hotel on the interstate but we stayed on a Saturday night and the crews weren’t working so no construction noise. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again but would check on road construction before doing so.

Trip to see doctors.....ugh!
The bathroom door did not stay shut and I like privacy when I'm in the bathroom as I would imagine most people do. It really would make me think twice about staying there again. Surely those doors could be fixed? We loved the Hispanic woman who was taking care of the breakfast, she was lovely and we had a nice talk. The breakfast was good too.

Hotel was fine. The guy working the desk was super nice. Problem was our 2 double bed room that we paid for in full wasn’t available. For a family of 4 at 10:30pm that’s a big problem. Not cool at all! The man working there said Expedia and Hampton Inn deliberately overbook rooms.. which penalizes the people that show up later like us.

The hotel was advertised as having a hot tub or spa. That was cemented over and there was no hot tub or spa at the hotel anymore, but they did have the spa rules still hanging on the wall. The filter on the pool was not working properly and the pool was cloudy and looked like someone had vomited in the pool. In the hallway there was a pipe leaking into a 5 gallon bucket and a moldy towel was inside the bucket. There was damage to fixtures in the room, also. My husband talked to the men at the front desk and said we were going to leave because the hotel was not clean or his it was advertised on Expedia. The men said we would be refunded our 180.00. We packed up and left and went to another hotel. We NEVER got a refund after almost a month of talking to Expedia and management at Hampton. I do have photos showing the conditions at this hotel. Stay at your own risk!

The only good thing was the early check-in allowed. The folded bath towels in the bathroom were wet. The counter was unattended on arrival (not sure if this was because of shortage) and when I went down to ask for new bath towels. Overall the place was okay but not sure if I will stay here again
