“great stopover hotel”

We had absolutely no complaints considering we had driven about 1000 kms that day. The grandkids loved the pool and we appreciated that they were able to burn off some energy. Breakfast was enjoyed by all of us so that was a real cost saver since there were 7 of us travelling.

“Most Convenient Hotel to Univ of IA Hospital”

The hotel staff are totally customer oriented. I was surprised and pleased about the breakfast and dinner offerings. Free shuttle service to/from the hospital was magnificent and the drivers were most accomodating. The staff went out of their way to be accomodating. Heartland Inn will be my first choice for future visits to Iowa City.

“Iowa City Stay”

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Shuttle to UI Hospital was a BIG plus (Richard was kind and helpful). Soup and breakfast OK. Recliner leg extension in room 107 would not go down (there's usually a mechanical adjustment for that). Pillows are way too hard. Would stay again, but have to bring my own pillow.

“great overnight”

We had a great stay, our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. We walked to supper and went for a long run outside the next morning. Breakfast was perfect for hotel breakfast. We did not use the pool. The price was wonderful and location great.

“I'd go back.”

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, well worth the price. The staff were friendly and seemed eager to help. There is a hot breakfast available.

“Great value”

Nice 2 star hotel, great service, even included free dinner (they had a BBQ, but that's not a standard deal, I don't know why they had it). Nothing to complain about, could be better maintained overall, but great value for the money. This is not a 5 star hotel.

“Time”

We did not spend much time there, checked in around 7:00 pm and left at 7:00 am.

“Free upgrade!”

Booked this motel late at night/early morning on an android app, when wer got to three motel they hasn't been updated so we got a free upgrade from standard king room to king whirlpool suite. Also didn't get a chance to use, but hours on pool were later then any other I've ever seen.

“Very convenient location”

Very convenient location, simple clean hotel, nice staff. Would say again for 1 night.

“Very good”

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel, not a gorgeous place but it's a very good deal for the price. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and they have a shuttle that takes you to the University of Iowa. There's nothing bad to say about it.
