Nice hotel close to the Jingle Cross CX event

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: It was a hotel and most hotels are about the same. The cookies were a nice touch.
Cons: Not much, the d├ęcor in the halls could be updated but it's not a deal breaker.
Location: I was there for a cyclocross race and it was about 5 miles from the venue. There's an Old Chicago restaurant across from the hotel with decent food.
The rooms were nice, the hotel itself was a little dated but that shouldn't deter you. The fresh baked cookies from 5:00 to 7:00 were a nice touch. I would stay there again!!

Wanted to be close to Levitt Center for event.

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Convenience to highway, cleanliness and comfort, and especially staff friendliness.
Cons: We suggested more hooks or towel bars in the bathroom.
Location: Just off a major road, and in a strip with several places to eat.
We found that every staff member we encountered, from check in, breakfast, map and directions, to be not only efficient but extremely nice. NICE.

We were checking into this hotel and there was nobody at the front desk for about 20 minutes. While my friend was attempting to look for the staff member near his office, the staff member finally came out and began to accuse us of trespassing (despite our luggage in tow and jackets). Although we tried to explain that we were just looking for him and not trespassing, he called the police, who had to escort our friend out. My other friend and I (both of us are women) felt unsafe and obliged to go to another hotel. I have never encountered someone so unprofessional and unfriendly in a service position in my life. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Easy to find and it was a comfortable stay

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The fact that it had an elevator.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location was good and easy to find although a little far off the freeway.
The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The room provided a good night rest. We enjoyed the continental breakfast.

This place is a dump.

Peeling paint, no cover on electrical outlet, horrible breakfast options, air conditioning in hallway either not on, or set very hot. It was humid and awful walking through the hallways.
