Loved the shuttle.Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and shuttle.
Location: Did not have time.
Shuttle great to the hospital. Rick was fantastic! Only complaint is that the TV remote didn't work even after we put new batteries in it.

Nice motel with great locationPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Hotel was centrally located- close to University, Mall & restaurants.
Cons: Parking. Parking lot was shared with restaurants so if you got there at night, finding a spot to park was difficult.
Enjoyable stay. Hotel staff was very pleasant & helpful. Room was clean & fairly comfortable.

Nice hotel close to UI.Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Very nice.
Cons: Reminder the guests keep quiet in public area.
The room is very clean and neat. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast is good. The only bad thing is noisy guests. Some guests made phone call and talked very loudly in the hallway instead of their rooms. I stayed two nights. I had very bad sleep in these two nights. One night, there were some guests went back their room at 3:00 in the very early morning, talked very loudly, and it last almost 20 minutes. Another night, the same bad experience happened again. Overall, the hotel is very good, but my experience is not good.

It was okay for PricePosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Comfy beds, they didn't gross me out like other hotels I've stayed at in the past.
Cons: Smoky smell in the hall ways.
Location: It was great location. We went to see a basketball game which was in walking distance from hotel. The cab ride to and from downtown was only $10.
We got a great price through Expedia. I definitely would not pay over $100 per night to stay here. The bed was comfortable, the room was okay - your standard 3 star hotel room, but the hall ways reeked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was good (but food in general after a long night of binge drinking is wonderful).

Restless nightPosted Feb 19, 2014
There were other guests staying that were creepy. They came into the pool area and sat down and stared at us. Made me feel uncomfortable. When we went up to the room the doors did not have a chain lock and had an regular key hole along with the regular card lock. Being a single mom staying alone I did not feel safe. Also Bed was hard and pillows were lumpy.

Perfect location to Hospital with a free shuttle which helped tremendously. Free breakfast with good choices and evening soup and cookies. Excellent staff. Very helpful and cheerful

Close to CarverPosted Jan 13, 2014
Cons: The breakfast was OK Strange that the closet was in the corner of the room by the window.
Great room And was close to Carver. Just stayed the one night. My husband and son used the pool and had a good experience.

Nice hotelPosted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Bathtub and cleanliness of walls and carpets.
Location: There is Chinese restaurant nearby, that is really good. It is located by Wal-Greens.
Overall experience was good. We enjoyed the location, but we were stuck in traffic after a Hawkeye game. Other than that, the staff was okay. Not overly friendly, but not negative. The quality of the room was good. A couple of complaints would be that the walls were dirty and the bathtub would fill up while showering.
