I was impressed with the hotel. Courteous staff, pool and hot tube were great, LOVE layout of the room and breakfast was fabulous!! Very nice area!! Everyone was happy!! Thank u!! We will be back!! Ive decided Im staying at Homewood Suites from now on!!

Check-in was quick...but I was left to kinda figure things out myself. Not a lot of help...but a lot of smiling. I was left initiating the conversations, like "Is that it?? Okay, Thanks!" After silently sliding the keycard over. The night clerk was awesome! He was helpful and went out of his way to tell the pros and cons about each place in the area. The only odd part about the stay was the building design. Yep...I went there. The parking lot is in the back...but the entrance is on the side of the building where other cars are driving thru not thinking about slowing down for people with luggage. And the entrance to the hotel has only room enough for 1 car to pull up and park...and it's in a alley..where cars are going to the parking lot/shopping. Weird.

Very nice facility tucked into the trendy River Landing area of Coralville/Iowa City. Evening reception food and drinks exceeded expectations. Convenient parking behind the hotel.

Nice amenities, very welcoming, family friendly. My only complaint was breakfast, staff wouldn’t refill waffle batter or muffins and still had 45 minutes until it was over.

Stayed 2 nights during a blizzard and other than no on site restaurant, and no covered parking our stay was great. It’s part of an entertainment complex so there are several restaurants within walking distance along with lots of shops. However, because of the snow all of those places shut down at 3, and we had to hike over to another hotel for dinner. Love to come back and visit in the summer!!!

The suite was roomy but the beds were uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast was cold and didn’t have very many choices. Also thought it was very inconvenient that the parking was far away.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The property was very clean. The room had a kitchen that was well stocked with dishes. The beds snd pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and was well attended too. The pool and hot tub were a hit. We just needed a quick overnight place with a pool, as we were visiting family for Thanksgiving. This was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a great location. Lots of shopping and a quaint coffee shop next door. The rooms were clean and big. The hot breakfast was delicious. The heating/cooling ran hot in the living area and super cold in the bedroom but we didn’t tell anyone so we obviously didn’t expect change. We would stay there again!

The hotel is great and in such a convenient area. Everything you need is in walking distance. However, after we got done swimming and went to get in the bed I noticed there was blood on our comforter so I told my kids to get off of it. I called the front desk and told them about it and they gave us a new room. The gentleman came to our room and gave us new keys for our new room down the hall. Me and the kids had to pack up all of our stuff late at night and move rooms which was fine considering the bed had blood stains. What really made me upset was the gentleman who help us only gave us two free bottles of water for “our troubles”. Really? Two bottles of water for having a room with someone’s blood stained on the bed? No thank you! That doesn’t cut it. I decided not to make a scene about it in front of my children and waited until the morning to tell someone else about this. The lady I spoke to at the front desk was very understanding. She couldn’t credit my room since I booked through a third party but she did give me a free one night voucher to use in the future. Unfortunate experience but other than that I do recommend the hotel
