Nice hotel for a mini couple's getaway

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Friends.
Cons: Nothing
Location: A lot of antique and specialty shops to stroll through right on the main drag.
Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful - gave tips and information on what and where to eat, to find shops, etc. The room was very clean and comfortable. We completely enjoyed our weekend here. It is perfect for couples - not a place for families to take children. The entire hotel has an old world feel which is wonderful and relaxing. The entire town of Cedarburg was really refreshing. Everyone was helpful and courteous. We will definitely go back once this winter finally breaks!

Walk to shops, restaurants and wine bars.

Our room was very cozy and clean. The bathroom was a bit snug but the shower was very roomy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A wine and cheese hour in the evening and breakfast was wonderful with homemade breads and spreads, fruits, juices. Loved the southwestern egg casserole. Close to all shopping and restaurants. Attended a seminar at the massage school in Grafton...just minutes away. Would definitely stay again.

We love the Washington House Inn. We stayed there for our honeymoon 25 years ago and came back for our 25th anniversary.
