“Lovely sunrise, otters swimming by”

Nice motel right on the lake, clean, quiet, beautiful views of lake and mountains, very friendly staff, comfortable bed and large room w/refrig. and table, very nice beach on lake-- one drawback was no coffee maker in the room and continental breakfast was a big disappointment, only tiny bagels, and dry cereal, and a little fruit bowl, no creamer for coffee or milk for cereal, and didn't open til 8am!!

“Clean & comfortable”

I booked this Inn for my daughter & her friends as a birthday gift. There were 4 people & they said the room was great. The only complaint was it is non smoking & they smoke but they just went outside to smoke. The staff was nice & the room was clean & comfortable. It said on the Inn's page there was a DVD player which there was not :(

“ok stay for a couple days but not longer than that”

I would say that the location is good in the area but they could do a little better job with the rooms. the toilet is from the late 80's and is incredibly wastefull with water usage as well as wined like a stuck pig, the shower head was awful and should be updated and the colors...... the bathroom is tiny and if there is too much steam in the room the fire alarm will go off so you need to keep the door open as the fan is not great.

“Good value for the location”

Center Harbor Inn is great for what it is. It is a hotel in need of major remodeling on a spectacular piece of property. It is also inexpensive for the location and was completely full when we were there. Inside the beds are sagging, the bathroom is modest, and the decor is from a few decades ago, but it is relatively clean although there is a musty smell. The wireless works and thecomplimentary breakfast is very basic. The location is the reason it fills up. Located directly on the lake it has a pier, grills, a deck with gliders, adiorondack chairs on the lawn overlooking the lake, a sandy beach, and a beautiful view from every room. There are many restaurants, shops and activities in Center Harbor and nearby Meridit. as well as easy access to the entire lake region.

“Go for the views”

The hotel has a good location. There are lake views that are lovely. The room was clean but the heater was difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. The refrig is nice to have. The outside of the hotel looks nice. The hallways and rooms are in need of a redo. Everything is outdated and very old and worn. Compared to other hotels in the area this one is very inexpensive. We were only there for one night and only in the room to sleep so it was a good value.

“Don't go there.”

Although located right on the lake, all the windows turn away from the lake, so you actually can't sit in your room and look at the lake! Also, the entrance corridor was full of very unpleasant odour, the hot water was not enough for a comfortable shower, the wi-fi only worked part of the time, and the promised breakfast was not there. But by far the most annoying was the non-lake view.
