Handy for City centrePosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Location. Fast no-fuss breakfast. Free Wi-Fi.
Cons: Parking - codes for multi-storey? Room décor and towel refresh.
Location: Great location for Union Street, and a 5 min walk to Union Square.
Great location for Union Street, and a 5 min walk to Union Square. Parking is an issue - there's only about half a dozen spaces. A multi-storey at the top of the road picks up the slack - at the guests expense. I've had a couple of rooms recently and found mould from window condensation and in the bathroom - so due a refresh (as are the towels - getting threadbare). In-room lighting is low watt - seems to be the standard in many hotels now, annoying - but no worse here than anywhere else. Otherwise rooms are good, included continental breakfast (with limited hot food) is more than adequate. Free Wi-Fi performed well on both visits. Overall, I'd stay again or recommend to a friend - but décor is getting a bit dated.

City center hotel.Posted Mar 17, 2015
Excellent location and no more than a few minutes walk from all main activities such as the theater, the music hall and many of the top pubs clubs and restaurants in Aberdeen. A good choice for those going out and about town. Facilities in the hotel are limited and the rooms fairly basic but all clean and well kept. Staff friendly and always helpful. I will definitelystay here again.

Good budget hotel.Posted Feb 16, 2015
Location: Central Aberdeen. Easy walking distance to shops, theatre, restaurants, cinema, pubs and clubs.
Good central hotel in Aberdeen. Staff very nice. Very good rate for a one night stop over which we had. Very clean. Most disappointing part was the breakfast which had limited choice. However in fairness, the money we saved on the room rate compared with other hotels in the area meant we could have went elsewhere to have a very substantial breakfast and still be quids in! On the whole would totally recommend for a short stay in Aberdeen.
