“a very good 4 star aka greek 5 star hotel”

One of a few that operate year long in the Chalkidiki area. Being our visit was out of season we had a pleasant visit, with few other guests, very good weather for mid February and most of the amenities in the hotel were available. However due to few guests breakfast and dinner food variety was limited. I understand this from a profit point but left us felling a bit underappreciated as guests. Hotel has comfortable rooms, and bathrooms but there was a bit of mold on the shower tiles due to no ventilation in the bathroom. Also there was no mirror shelf to put our cosmetics on. The room is 26 sq m total with a nice terrace, comfortable bed (firm but not too firm), lcd tv, mini bar (which was a bit loud) and safe. Free WIFI internet worked in the room most of the time despite being available in the reception area only. The indoor pool is rather small but the area was heated and the water was pleasant. It was cold going back wet to the changing rooms which are small and smell stuffy. The hotel has spa treatments and various games available for an extra charge. They also have a wonderful playroom for children which we used free of charge. The staff was very pleasant and speak decent English. Drinks are a bit on the high side. The beach is nice and if you have a car there are several nicer ones in the 10km radius. The outdoor pools seem good. Finally it's a bit of a walk to dining facility, reception, beach and parking from the rooms due to the way the hotel is built. Parking

Lovely hotel, in a perfect setting but just a little bit too far from all the local attractions. If I were to return to that part of Greece I would probably stay a little closer to Thessaloniki but if you're looking to get away from everything for a few days, then it's perfect

This hotel does not live up to the images on the website. We had to move rooms twice, the first one was over the dining room air conditioning units and backed onto a main road and therefore the noise was unbearable. The second room had mould on the walls which the receptionist denied, despite my invites for him to come to the room and look for himself. We asked to speak to the manager, and following a battle with the receptionist he eventually contacted the manager who moved us into a third room which was fine but received no apology and very regrudging behaviour. A lot of the rooms suffer from loud external air con units or road noise. The facilities are exaggerated on the website, it rained one day so we decided to use the indoor bowling alleys..only to find this comprised of 2 half length childrens alleys. When we asked about the indoor pool we were told to use the outdoor ones as they were better! The hotel boasts it has 3 pools but in reality unless you are staying in the new maisonettes you are only allowed to use 2 of them. The staff were not friendly and customer service was not high priority. The grounds are unloved and the whole hotel has a feeling of despondancy about it. All made sadder or funnier, depending on your view point, by watching how many europeans try to disguise taking food out of the dining room from the large breakfast buffet so they had a free lunch!!
