“What a lovely pool!”
The hotel is conveniently located, it is only a short walk away up the hill from the main road in the village, so did not really need to take the hotel shuttle bus. The room was spacious enough, a bit on the basic side of things, but the towles were always promptly changed, it was useful to have the balcony with chairs and table. The good thing about Atrium is that it has a very good pool. I found it to be well maintained, clean, 25 metres long, with a separate area for children, so could swim undisturbed. There are plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. The drinks at the bar are expensive , but there is a happy hour every day and there is also a little hotel shop selling postcards, newspapers and cold drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel to families with children expecting great animation or miniclubs as the activities on offer were limited. For those who like certainty in life, there are always "Darts" at 10 am and "Volleyball" at 11am. The food is buffet-style and ordinary, however there is plenty of choice, especially at breakfast. Glad of the choice, found the place peaceful, the beaches long and clean , the sea calm and full of fish, really restful. Altogether Atrium is definitely good value for money, it looked well managed, the pool is a bonus. The village is full of good little places where to eat after all.
