“Comfortable, good value, centrally located”

Four of us stayed here in the summer of 2006 and were very pleased. The location is excellent, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was huge.

Highly recommended! Staying at Le Palace has been a wonderful experience. The rooms and bathroom facilities were particularly clean and well appointed. The personnel was extremely polite to the point of making you feel more like an old friend than a paying guest. Breakfast was always characterized by an interesting variety and particularly tasty. Whenever in Thessaloniki we are certainly going to stay there again!!!

“Relaxing place to stay”

I was very satisfied with my stay at Le Palace Hotel. They were very polite and friendly to me. When my flight to Thessaloniki was delayed, I called ahead to let them know that I would be checking in in the middle of the night instead of that afternoon. They assured me that they would be open all night long and to not worry, that a room would be waiting for me. Inside the hotel, the staff was also very polite. Regarding the condition of the hotel, you could tell they made renovations. Room was very clean and in great shape. The best part is that it's on the main shopping avenue in the city, close to the most popular square (Aristotle square), but you could not hear any noise from outside. Highly recommend.

“Great Location, Fabulous Bed”

Le Palace hotel was a wonderful place to stay in a wonderful city. Excellent dining within blocks in several different directions. Easy walk to historic churches and museums. Off-site parking was convenient and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was splendid and varied and service very friendly, low-key and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in in my life. We were there during a heat wave but the air-conditioning in our room was quiet, powerful, responsive and efficient. Street noise might be a problem sometimes if you keep the windows open, but we didn't want to anyway. Very Highly Recommended.

“Nice Hotel in center of Thessaloniki”

I really enjoyed this hotel. The location couldn't be beat - you were 2 blocks from the main square by the waterfront, and within easy walking distance of great cafes, restaurants, and sites. The service was great too - the AC on our initial room wasn't working, so they promptly moved us to another room and followed up to make sure everything was ok. Even though the hotel was right on a busy street, the sound proofing was excellent, too. By the way, I highly recommend visiting Thessaloniki - it was great fun. Make sure to take a walk through the old town up on the hill.

“Ideal location in Thessaloniki”

The La Palace Hotel is in an ideal location in the city centre. The seafront, port, main square, fresh food markets, luxury shopping district, museums and historic ruins are all within walking distance. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel rightly prides itself on the exceptionally comfortable beds. The bathrooms are function but could do with updating. The breakfast buffet is excellent and is open well into late morning for those wishing to sleep in. The staff were friendly, helpful and fluent in English. Rooms facing the street (as mine did) have some traffic noise.

Standard was outstanding. Beds so comfortable I am thinking of buying same make! Location cannot be improved. Great value for money.
