Pros: close to city center, close to night life, close to market streets. Cons: you have to pay for hotel parking. There is ample parking space around though.

Cons: Breakfast was very very expensive.
Location: Out of the center of town and a very very long walk to the main interest points
Room was very clean and of good size. Breakfast was outrageously priced Hotel was way out of the center and there were nothing to do around it. Will not stay there again

Nice hotel with a great sea view.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Great views. Really good room service. Best meat and vegetable soup ever. Needs a bit improvement with the amenities - had only bath shower gel.

Nice location, room with a viewPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Particularly liked being right on the water and having the pool nearby
Cons: My room at least was not in the best repair - there was a leak in the bathroom and the AC was not very effective
The hotel was convenient to the airport and very reasonable for the room size and view as well as the facilities (including restaurants and pool). For a one-night stopover it was the perfect choice for me.

Makedonia Palace is one of the nicer hotels in the city. While it is not located in the center of the city in the hotel row, it is beautifully situated close to White Tower and next to the sea. Amenities are of good quality, it also has multiple pools and eateries. It is fairly touristy and the staff are very helpful and attentive. Standard rooms are ok, carpets are old and questionable and sheets are rough--NOT Egyptian cotton as they describe. The suites are very nice and come with spectacular views. City views are not the best.
