“Good Place”

If you are looking for entertainment, this hotel is located in an excellent place for you. But, if you expect to swim or make just sightseeing and going to bed in around 11 pm., this is not your place. Reception is friendly (except one old guy; I asked password for wi-fi politely, but he didn't understand I think, and told me "what do you want"), rooms are clean.

“Don't stay here if you want to sleep”

We've been living in Europe now for 15 months and have stayed in over 15 hotels in 6 countries. This was easily the worst hotel we've stayed in. The biggest problem was the noise. The hotel is surrounded by nightclubs that are open all night (at least on the weekends). The first few nights the noise died down about 3 AM but on the last night (Friday) it went all night long (it was still going on when we left for the airport at 4:30 AM for an early flight). Having the windows closed doesn't help. The air conditioner, which sounds like a airplane taking off helped drown out the noise a bit, although then the noise of the air conditioner keeps you awake. The staff are friendly, speak good English and are fairly helpful. The breakfast was okay about average for a European buffet (but included in the room price). The room we had was old and needed to be remodeled wallpaper and paint peeling). The hotel makes a big deal of the art. We didn't have any art in our room worth mentioning and the lobby art was not that great. This wasn't a big deal to us, but the hotel seems to think it is. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone.
