Very Nice Hotel, Area Not So GreatPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Very impressed with the vast choices for breakfast and it was delicious.
Cons: The reception area should be separated from the eating area. There should be a wall with a door between reception and dining area or a moveable screen
Location: Not many good restaurants in this location just snack bars or cafes. The beach was ok but not the best, a bit untidy and quite a bit of rubbish.
At first glance of the area it looked pretty grim as the weather was poor. The hotel was great though and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely, we were on the 6th floor and had a sea view. The balcony was massive, the biggest I've ever seen but the floors below and above us were not as big. We had a huge double bed in the room and a single. The room was very comfortable and a clever sliding door with mesh for keeping out the bugs. A slight annoyance was the lack of power points so I had to move the mirror and prop it up on the bed to plug in the hairdryer (bathroom dryer is like all other bathroom hairdryers, not very powerful). The bathroom was cleaned meticulously every day and towels changed but the shower was dreadful. A flimsy curtain around a tray to stand in so impossible to keep the floor dry, it was more like a wet room which was annoying but typical of greek bathrooms! There was a little park type forest area opposite the hotel where packs of dogs roamed freely. On our first night they barked and howled all night but were ok after that, just a few barks now and again. We are dog lovers so it didn't bother us and they were very friendly and appreciated the scraps of food we took them. The surrounding area of the hotel wasn't overwhelmingly attractive and there weren't many good restaurants, just cafe's/snack bars and a few shops. Pleased with this hotel but the middle peninsula is much prettier with stunning views.

Very nice hotel in a little bit of a run down area just outside of Helkidiki. Beach very close by but packed and beaches in Helkidiki better. Also night life a bit quiet and definitely need a car to get about and see some of the nicer sites. Nice for a long weekend.

Cheap and cheerful hotel with good spa facilities. Excellent location for nearby town and breakfast was ok. Only real let down was a shabby room with uncomfortable bed.

Wonderful Spa, high quality, really bargain price!Posted Mar 19, 2012
Pros: Amazing Spa, clean and well furnished rooms, nice breakfast room and breakfast
Cons: In some rooms (not all), slight smell of cigarette smoke. Will change your room, though, if you ask for it!
Location: Quite some taverns, restaurants, bars around. 50 meters for beach. 30 mins from the center of Thessaloniki. Very close to many places in Chalkidiki
This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The advertised price originally made me quite skeptical. However, Mykonos Paradise Hotel is a high quality hotel - with well furnished and clean rooms, nice balconies with sea view or partial sea view, and a very nice breakfast room and buffet. Most importantly, Mykonos Paradise Hotel has a *wonderful Spa*, which was really beyond expectations! Brand new fitness equipment, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage - very delicately lit, with atmospheric music and fragrances. In terms of location, if you plan to be visiting Thessaloniki often, you will need a rental car - which however can be quite cheap during this season. Most locations in Thessaloniki will be 30 mins away, max. There is also the option of public transport, which however takes a little longer. But in terms of restaurants, taverns, bars and the such - there is already quite some choice in Kallikrateia, where Mykonos Paradise Hotel is located - so you might as well not need to visit Thessaloniki. Also, the sea is just 50 meters away. In short: Wonderful Spa (!), clean and nice rooms with a view, really bargain price
