Very nice room. Opened up to the beach.Posted Mar 8, 2015
Relaxing stay. Everyone enjoyed the experience and the ability to step from our room, almost, onto the beach. The kids had a wonderful time running on the beach and relaxing in our room.

Awesome beach locationPosted Feb 1, 2015
Pros: location location location
Cons: keeping in mind that one is here for the ocean, improving the wi-fi and improve the use of space in the small rooms. Murphy beds, perhaps?
Location: The ocean makes this location great. Florence has an abundance of activities and there are lots of regional areas to explore from here.
we should have asked for the larger room! hard to find room to use laptop. no comfortable seating. Bed OK but lumpy. wi-fi weak on 3rd floor staff very helpful and responsive.

Nice resort close to the beach.Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: The view, where can you stay that you can lay on your bed and watch and hear the ocean. And the staff were very friendly.
Cons: New pillows and more pressure in the shower.
Location: We comb the beach and found whole silver dollars it was lots of fun, We ate at our favorite place Mo's and ofcoures shopped in Old Town.
The resort has great views of the beach and ocean. Our bed was comfortable but the pillows was flat. The shower did not have much pressure but it was clean. I like the resort and will always be my favorite place to stay in Florence.

Nice and cozyPosted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Location and that rooms had been somewhat updated. Could have done more.
Cons: Put in more power plugs for a CPAP machine by the bed. Small refrigerator was too noisy. We turned it off.
Location: Located in Florence, Oregon with beautiful beach access. Plenty of tourist shops and restaurants.
Got a standard room. Pleased that it was a queen bed. Would rather have a king but rate was too high. Friends had a king room with kitchenette and they were happy. Our room was small and cozy. Dated but clean and comfortable.

Nice, but not perfect.Posted Nov 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The good:The room was very clean,The view if the ocean is tremendous and the staff were very friendly. The not so good: We paid extra for a kitchen unit.We went over Thanksgiving ,and the stove/oven was broken. HAlf the outlets didn't work and the WiFi was impossible to get on as it said that user limit was reached . It never became available the whole time we were there. I think for almost $200 a night they could upgrade the WiFi to work as advertised.Although we had small issues it was still a nice place and would stay there again.

Beachfront barginPosted Nov 14, 2014
Nice hotel right on the beach, a short walk and only 6 stairs to be on the sand. Everything was clean and kitchenette had dishes and silverware, pool was a comfortable temperature, great ocean views and sounds right into the room. A fireplace in the room would be a nice addition.

on the beachPosted Nov 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The beachfront location is stunning. Storm watching, enjoying the sand and surf or just listening to the sounds of the sea. Room is well used and carpeting stained. Small standard room. It was fine for a night or two.

hotel on the beachPosted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The front desk could be less rude, and be open open extra cost. The hotel did fix their over draw on my bank account, but it should not have happened
The hotel is on right on the beach and the views are amazing. The hotel has only 4 floors and when we got there , there were hardly any lights on in rooms and hardly any cars out front. We wanted to be up at least on the 3rd floor or maybe the 4th and when I asked if we could pick our room they said not a problem. Nothing was said about the extra cost of the 4th floor. As we were checking in another hotel staff, I guess lead stated loudly " It's an extra $16.50, PER DAY for the 4th floor. We just remodeled that area, so it's more." I thought that was odd, especially since the hotel was empty. OK fine. When we got to the room, nothing special, but there was a large towel stuffed along the bottom of the sliding glass door leading out to the small deck. I called the front desk and they said" Oh, that's to help keep the wind and rain out" The towel looked like it had dirt and mold on it. When I called the front desk, they just repeated what they had said about the towel. They also took put $ 40 dollars on my debit card right away for the extra cost. When I asked them why they took $ 20 dollars per day extra instead of $ 16.50. I was told that they " Round up" and that any extra over "would be credited back to us eventually" Not impressed at all. It seemed like they were nickel and diming us to make up for the last of guest in the hotel. I saw nothing on their hotel site about the extra cost and the front desk / lead manager was abrupt and rude.

Solid budget hotel in FlorencePosted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
The positives: the hotel is in a great location, it has an awesome indoor pool with a separate kiddie pool and play area, good onsite restaurant, friendly staff, kitchens in most of the rooms, and is a quick drive into Florence. The cons: the rooms could use updating and the hotel itself can be pretty loud depending on who you have as neighbors.
