Overall Disappointing

Cons: Toilet seat fixed. Check for smoking. Better WiFi. Hole in shower repaired.
I booked this room over Expedia, paying for it with Bitcoins. That was cool. I checked in around 7:30 in the evening. When I opened the door to my non-smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke was quite strong. I was given another room that smelled clean. The room itself was very clean and that's the reason I rated the room only disappointing. Otherwise it would have been terrible. The toilet seat was broken and would slide around on the bowl. There was a hole in the shower just below the faucet. The door had daylight around it and would be very drafty in the winter storms. The wifi was slow I couldn't watch Netflix. The room was small. The stairway to the first floor was trashy? I never tried the TV, microwave, coffee or the refrigerator. I don't know if this has anything to do with the room but my allergies started acting up in the room and I had a sore throat in the morning. The price was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Location: Near the beach. Shops nearby.
The motel was clean, but a bit beaten up. They do not serve rolls for breakfast, but they did have oatmeal, which made my husband somewhat happy. Not worth the price.

Nice to have an ocean view.

The location of the hotel was nice and our room had an ocean view which was a definite plus. The room had a funny smell to it so we ended up buying a candle at Fred Meyer to make it smell nice. The continental breakfast was ok but the selection was very poor. The first night and part if the second day there wasn't internet since they had someone doing maintenance on it. For the good price, the hotel served us well.

Pros: That it was available when needed.
Cons: The room service of cleaning it.
Location: We did like that it was close to the Newport Bay.
We got out of the room around 12 and they had knocked like 30 before this time and they were only like two rooms away. Our room did not get cleaned, we had stayed two nights and had to go to the front desk for towels and shampoo. They could have gone back to clean it. Otherwise, the stay was ok.

Pros: The breakfast was nice but they didn't have enough seating.
Cons: If anything could be improved it would definitely be the room quality and clean.
The first room we got when we arrived at the hotel was more than disappointing. To start off the room when we first walked in didn't smell clean,the t.v. didn't work and there were dirty towels hanging from the bathroom door. But that was not all the paint was chipping,there were strange stains on the walls. That was not the worst of the worst once we pulled back the bed sheet there was something that you should not find in fresh new sheets. YUCKK. The room was not even cleaned so we went to the front office and they gave us a new room. The second room was better but the sheets still didn't feel clean and once again on the side of the bath tube there was again something that should not be in a clean room but we were only staying there for a night so we just ignored it. Another problem we had was the WiFi didn't even work. I suggest that you just stay at a different hotel.

Worst room I've rented for years

The room was not clean. It needs painting as it looks as if someone has spit and blown their nose on the wall by the bed and in the bathroom....disgusting. The walls were filthy with hand prints everywhere. The dry wall around the bathtub is rotten. The corner bead metal is rusting through the paint. Won't ever stay there or at an Econo Lodge ever again.

The floor was spongy between the room proper and the bathroom. A cell phone charger or other device charger fell out of most the outlets.( the ones by the sink worked OK .,The Continental breakfast was cereal, plain bagels with cream cheese or butter toast, and /or a waffle. There was apple or orange juice and coffee, No fruit There were a couple good restaurants close. The camera in the parking lot did not work .Which was unfortunate for the person whose car got hit. The service ran from poor to good depending oin who was helping you. we had to constantly redo the room key cards

Alright hotel

Pros: The waffles and the location.
Cons: Staff attitude, room cleanliness, parking space
Location: The hotel is located in a good area. Close to the beach, and in the middle of just about everything. You can go shopping at all kinds of stores.
We had to wait an extra hour after check-in for them to finish cleaning the room and we could go in it. The floors were wet, not well vacuumed, and the towels weren't stocked well. There wasn't enough coffee in the room for the stay. The continental breakfast was small, but I thought it was tasty. It was an alright stay for what we needed. The office is closed throughout the night.

The room was ok. They need to update. The television didn't work and I noticed that the person behind me while I was checking in had the same problem. Looked to be short staffed for a Saturday afternoon.
