Pros: Liked the location, amenities, breakfast.
Cons: Never could get the coffee maker to work.

Nice hotel on the beach with incredible views.

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Incredible ocean views from all of the rooms. Tasty fresh-baked cookies in the evening. Good close-in parking.
Location: Newport is a cool town to visit and we had a great day there. The hotel is close to everything.
Upon arrival we were given a room that had a very unpleasant odor. Couldn't say exactly what it was. When we complained, a staff person was sent to the room to check it out. He claimed that he couldn't smell anything, which we found hard to believe. I asked if they could move us to another room, which they did right away. No strange odor there, and the rest of our stay was great. Overall, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had lots and lots to choose from.

My favorite hotel!

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: The ambience!
Cons: For the price you pay, Rugs need to be cleaned or better yet changed. Nicer balcony furniture would be a huge plus.
Location: Great location, every room is over looking the ocean.
Love staying here, best cookies in the summer, best chowder in the winter!

Wonderful Stay

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Location and staff.
I have nothing but praise about my stay and the staff. The reception area staff were welcoming and helpful. Colleen and Jody were especially kind in helping me with additional night stays. The cleaning staff was always cheerful, helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed to make my stay pleasant experience. The Elizabeth Street Inn has become my place to stay while in Newport.

Great view of ocean

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Great View.... cookies, spacious room.
Cons: Maid coming in at appropriate time.
Mostly good.Housekeeper did not tidy room on our 2nd day. Bathroom was tiny and difficult to move around in. I hate vanity/sink next to entry door! Not sure it was worth $170 per night.

anniversary fun

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The location, the staff, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion (smelled awesome).
Cons: The breakfast left a lot to be desired, seemed more like a Hampton Inn breakfast than what we thought was a boutique type hotel.
Location: The Newport Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Center is nearby, as is the Rogue Brewery. The historic bayfront was nice. There is the original Mo's.
We were looking for a nice place to stay with a view of the ocean. Elizabeth Street Inn was perfect! Our room faced the ocean and listening to the waves was exactly what we needed to relax.
