“An amazing stay.”

My arrival was not all that good. The room was not ready and wasnt ready for some time. After going back in for the third time the room was still not ready but they decided to put me in another room that, was ready and with an even better view. The room was amazing. The fact that there is an adult hour at the end of the night at the pool area was nice. They even brought ice to me room and i was totally not expecting that from them. I loved the room. loved the place and i will definitely be staying there again!

I was very pleased as was my sister who was traveling with me. The staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. I had read earlier remarks about the Embarcadero but have stayed here before on several occasions and have never been upset about anything. Suite was clean, well stocked and comfortably furnished. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Would and will recommend to everyone coming to Newport, Oregon.

Took my daughter there on spring break from college. Had a great time. Beautiful view conviently located. Nice room.

Place was a little tired, but the location was great, nice and quiet and private.

Room was clean and comfortable. View of bay was great. Enjoyed walking around the grounds and on the boardwalk around the resort. Had a relaxing time.

“Dated, but oh what view.”

This hotel could use some serious updating and repairs....But , it is the coast. To wake up to the view of the bay is amazing. Would not hesitates to stay at this property again.

“Oregon coast”

The room was fine but the bed was horrible. There was a 'hole" in the bed and it was impossible to sleep anywhere but in the hole. View of the bay was good, swimming pool and hot tub were nice and the facility as a whole was good. It just needs a new mattress.

“A great place but not for us,”

The Embaracaro was a nice facility. It's "long stay" recreational atmosphere was perfect for the family that was ready to do some crabbing or fishing. While the view of the bay from our balcony was nice, the room comfortable (save the very old and too soft matress), and the few staff we met pleasant (but with no dress code eveyrone looked like they should have been doing maintenance than greeting guests) - this was a mistake booking on my part. I was looking for a place with an oceon view (my fault in reading "bay view" as meaning the ocean) and just a nice hotel for our one night. The location did introduce us to the bay front of Newport - and that was great fun! Great restaurants, shops, and sightseeing. Speaking of restaurants - why would a resort have their restaurant closed on any night during the summer season? This was a real disappointment.

The location is in a Bay, pretty. Difficult to climb the 2 steep flights of stairs to get to room.

overall, the room is satisfactory,however, the pillows are lumpy and flat..the bathroom rug needs to be replaced, the fridge in the room is old and makes cluncky noise and need of defrosting. The view was spectacular.The dining experience was less than desirable..the service was so so..and so was the food. Will not eat in the restaurant next time
