“Fantastic Stay”

This hotel was not only conveniently close to town and affordable, but the room was luxurious compared to others we've stayed in at this price. I'd definitely go back.

“Clean Hotel...”

This hotel was priced higher than others nearby though the location next to the Oregon Aquarium made it worth it. You can see the aquarium from the parking lot so we walked to it. The hotel is only a couple years old so everything is very clean and new. Breakfast was complete with pancake maker which is a little slow but good none the less. The surrounding area is not all that exciting though we only stayed for the aquarium as mentioned. We went the to Rogue Brewery which was just down the street, easy walking though with little ones and being quite chilly we decided to drive. They had a great selection of brews and excellent clam chowder, though the rest of the food was so so. We used the laundry room as we were on a 3 week road trip and they also had some board games you could borrow which was nice. We used the gym and also used the busines office to check emails etc and pool/spa were very clean - kids loved it. Definately would recommend for convenience, location to aquarium.

“Thanksgiving in Newport”

The hotel is a little out of the way from the main part of Newport but is very near the aquarium and the funky south side of Newport. I am very familiar with the area and was fine with the location since it was near my family. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, modern, stylish. My room was very nice. The bed was so comfy I had a hard time getting out of it. The wide screen TV was a plus. The bathroom very nice. I did not partake in the pool or hot tub since I was staying only 1 night. The breakfast was adequate. Not great but ok for a quick bite before heading out. The room was big, bright with a nice TV for morning news. The coffee was yummy and so were the cinnamon rolls! I would definitely stay here again. All of the employees were super nice and friendly. Great place for the price.

“Great Spring Break!”

We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn! The standard room was pretty crowded for our family of six, but that was our fault for lying regarding how many we were bringing. We were less than impressed with the hotel manager (mostly because she couldn't go a complete sentence without reminding everyone around that she was the manager and using the phrase, "my staff", etc.), but LOVED their night guy, Jamie. Location next to the aquarium was great, and it's not far at all from the rest of Newport. Great breakfast, great pool, great atmosphere! Highly recommend!!

“A comfortable place to stay”

The difference in cost between this and quite ordinary motels was more than made up for by the high standard of the room and the staff. The only shortcoming was the complimentary breakfast which was meagre and austere. I would be happy to return there.

“Short stay”

Short stay; wish breakfast had started at 6 instead of 7 as we were long gone by 7:00. We would like to have had time to take advantage of the pool, too; it looked very inviting, and some kids in the elevator gave it rave reviews. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient.

“Jacuzzi Jem”

Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. The room was wonderful. The Jacuzzi is bliss! The only thing that was strange was the door to the bathroom was almost too big to shut because the toilet got in the way. All entertainment and shopping were very close.

“The best hotel in Newport!”

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and love it! It is so clean and new. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is awesome. Not only that but the lady that stocks the breakfast stuff keeps up on it so well that no one needed anything really and if we asked for something she got it right away. She even offered to open the conference room when all the tables were taken. Well Done!!!

“"Felt like you never left home"”

Overall it was a very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was just ok, but hey it's complimentary. If I was ever headed back to Newport, I'd definitely stay here again.

“We will be back.”

Location was perfect, walking distance to small shops. The king bed was soft and very comfortable. The room was large. We will be going back.
