Ok hotel

Posted Jul 27, 2015
The room was okay. Great location. But there was lots of noise from other rooms at night. It also said it had free WiFi but that was only in the lobby cause when I got to the room there was no wifi.. also there should be some screen for the windows. Files keep coming in...

Remodeling?

Posted Jul 26, 2015
They said that they were remodeling, but it did not look like it. It was no smoking, but smelled like it. The sliding glass door didn't lock. The only way to turn the tv on or off was to plug or unplug it. The nice thing was that since it was the first leg of our trip, we really looked forward to staying anywhere else.

Good for the price!

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Cheap! Also, it's right next to everything.
Cons: Air conditioner!
Location: The AMAZING Rogue Brewery, and the Aquarium are right next door.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. No air conditioning in these rooms. BUT you are right next to the Brewery and Aquarium, and right next to the beach. There are no shampoo bottles, either.

nice location.

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Very reasonable price Hotel room is big
Cons: internet connection to be accessible in the hotel room smell of the washroom need improvement. it smells like very strong vinegar
Location: close to the market, just across the bridge good location if you enjoy crabbing or fishing
hotel location is across the bridge from the market. if you like to go crabbing, this is a good hotel to stay. If the price is a factor, this is a very reasonable stay. The room is big and the double sink outside the bathroom is a plus. the downside is we have no internet connection in the room. you have to go to the lobby to connect and use the internet. the other downside is the cleaning agent that they uses on the washroom. It smells like vinegar so we have to close the bathroom door and open the window so it won't be to smelly.

Do they clean?

The rooms were horrible! I can understand being a little out dated, but can not tolerate filth.

Great Place to Stay

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: The hotel was quiet the staff was friendly, the room was nice and the fireplace was a wonderful touch.
Location: The beach was near by and the board walk was fun I enjoyed looking through all of the shops.
My husband and I decided to make a quick trip up the coast for the weekend. I went on line to find motels and came acrossed motel 6 I called booked a room which was easy, and no waiting the motel cleck was friendly. We were so pleased when we got there the room was huge, and very clean the bed was as comfortable as our bed at home.

Hotel is under construction so there is dust and debris all over. Wifi didn't work. Elevator was slow and the door took forever to close. Rooms out of date with old tiny televisions and dirty green carpet. Parking lot was full when we came back late. Staff weren't very helpful or apologetic about the construction. When asked how it was upon checking out, the front desk seemed angry when we said it wasn't good. She just said you have to understand we are in transition. That would have been nice to know before we booked!

In midst of renovation?

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Proximity to major attractions.
Cons: OH--get rid of those hideous Motel 6 bedspreads. LOL!
Location: Rogue Brewery right across the street. Aquarium very close by.
It appears that a former privately owned hotel is now a Motel 6. There was much to be desired. Hopefully they are doing a total renovation in the new Motel 6 style. The room was adequate, but smelled and was pretty shopworn. Also, when we booked through Expedia we were not allowed to use our Motel 6 senior discount.

Hit the Beach

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Cons: Needs better and faster elevator. Takes almost 15 seconds for door to close.
Good motel, as always, at a good price. Tho beach price higher than typical Motel 6.

Rooms are big, sinks are outside the bathroom and there are two of them. Fridge and microwave in rooms. Beds comfortable. Affordable! Easy to find. Can walk to the Aquarium and the Aquarium village from the hotel. Quiet. Was under construction but looks near complete.
