“Excellent location for a hotel”

The room was clean and the beds were comfy. It's located right on the river and across from sand dunes. It was a great place to stop for the night. It wasn't to badly priced for what you get. The hotel is off the main road so you don't get the sound of cars all night long. The only thing is that there is wooden walk way for the rooms and when people pass by you can hear their foot step and/or luggage rolling through.

Nice hotel with good beds, nice room in general. Entire complex was kept up very nice. Great location! Walking distance to restaurants/shopping. Great view of the river and bridge. Highly recommend this hotel in the Florence area.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the owner and staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was adequate with eggs and sausage and they also had fresh fruit.

“A Night in Florence”

We only spent one night there, but the service was fantastic and the people were so friendly. The thing that impressed me the most was their Continental breakfast. It was more than a bagel and cream cheese or some cold cereal. They also had hot home-made waffles with syrup. And it that's not your style, they have a nice selection of fresh fruit and yogurt in the refrigerator. And a cute little rubber ducky in the bathroom.

My riverfront room was clean, quiet, and near everything I needed. I parked my car and walked to dinner and nearby scenic areas. Management was very helpful and friendly. the room was clean and smelled fresh, and modern.

Normally I stay at chain hotels so I know what to expect. The reviews on TripAdvisor for this hotel were very good so I decided it give it a try. The reviews were right on, great hotel, would definitely come back again.

“A House on a River...Beautiful!”

Really enjoyed our stay at the River House Inn. We were welcomed by the staff and everything was explained (where to get free breakfast) and if we had any questions just ask. Breakfast was good (not exceptional) although there are a number of good restaurants within blocks of the hotel. The view from our room was beautiful (ask for a river view) I didn't think it was over priced. No iron in room and it needs a hook in the bathroom for women to hold their night gowns etc. also have a waste basket in bathroom for women's personal needs. Found few outlets that were handy but all in all it was a very nice room. We would stay there again.
