“Great view”

Our room at Shilo Inn Suites at Newport looked out onto the beach with rolling waves,relaxing surf and kites inthe wind. We loved watching children romp along the wide hard beach, and the kites were impressive. Our room was clean, comfortable and large enough to move around in. Thanks, Shilo Inn Suites!

“Our trip to the coast”

Upon arrival to the hotel, the front desk gave us a map of the area. Very, very friendly. The room had a wonderful view of the ocean beach. We also had a young family next to us, and we did not hear a thing through the thick walls. If we stay in Newport again, this will be the hotel of choice again.

“Magnificent ocean view”

I stay here regularly. It's the place I picked the first time I went to Newport, and I keep coming back. It isn't anything special, but it's comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly, and there are cookies at the front desk. The ocean views from the rooms are great. Newport is a great town for food, flying kites, and surfing. Check out Ossie's surf shop for lessons. Eat at Chowder Bowl or Local Ocean. Avoid the restaurant called "Sharks." They are indeed sharks.

“Made our Wedding weekend PERFECT!!”

They did AWESOME! It was our weddig weekend and when we checked in we had been given a room in the smaller and older end of the building so we went back and asked them in we could change rooms to a nicer one since it is our wedding weekend. Not only did they change our room but they also upgraded us to a suite without any extra charge. It was great!

“Beautiful Beach, Nice enough place”

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We ate breakfast at the cafe and had a complimentary drink in the hotel bar. Both pools were extremely clean. The rooms were nice, the exterior was slightly worn, but that's what saltwater will do. The hotel staff was on top of maintenance. The ocean views were very satisfying, and being able to open the windows was a plus! Overall, I cannot complain!

“A wonderful stay”

From check in to check out, the stay was excellent. Greeted by a very cordial individual, who made it clear that we were welcome. Room was exceptionally clean. Quiet and a beautiful view of the ocean. This is our second stay at the Shiloh and we will definitely stay there again. Entire experience at Newport was fantastic!

“Very nice ocean view”

The hotel staff was excellent, the view of the ocean was spectacular, the only bad part, our room was not ready and we had to wait about an hour. The onsite resturant was very good as well.
