not a fancy hotel with minimum furniture

Posted Jul 16, 2015
We were disappointed in the size and quality of the room and furnishings. We wanted a soft chair for each of us and a larger shower and dressing area. The wi-fi connection cut out continually and the sheets were never changed. Beach access was limited when we thought it was right outside our door.

Thank you for your feedback. We have many different rooms types to accommodate our guests upon requests at check-in or make arrangements before your arrival for an upgrade fee. We have additional chairs for guests that like soft or firm chairs. The beach access is a short distance down the block. We are on a cliff for amazing views!

Great view and close to beach.

Spent three night at Coho. Our room was small but nice decor. Everything was great until you had to sleep. Bed was hard and the couch sleeper was just as uncomfortable. Great view and could hear the ocean. Offered nice breakfast, pool area was very nice. Loved the fire pit area.

Fabulous hotel

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Having breakfast included was a nice plus.
Cons: Earlier adults only time at the pool. i would've liked a soak in the hot tub but didn't want to wait until after 9 pm.
Location: Lots of shops and restaurants...Deli 101 is really good.
Beautiful oceanview room with fireplace and soaking tub with jets. Room also had fridge, microwave, kettle and the best...a French press for coffee in my room in the morning. Chocolate chip cookies at reception and a wide selection of movies to borrow. Easy walking to the beach and shops. Wonderful place!!

Beach Vacation

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Location and good quality rooming.
Location: Beach walking, rock hunting, sea life = starfish, anemones, mussels, & other sea. Shopping for both souvenirs and brand name good.
Great location overlooking Lincoln City beach, great shell and agate hunting. Room pleasant, amenities nice.

Close to walk to the Beach and Beach views

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Views
Cons: Internet and fewer dogs...
Location: BEACH and outlet Mall shopping....
Great weekend. The room was great..comfortable and clean. We were in the PET section which was just ok, but will make sure we are away from dogs and barking next time. Also, the Internet was terrible.....they need to upgrade. All in all a great trip for the 4th of July.

Thanks for your rave reviews of the Coho. Our 4th of July weekend is really busy for the Oregon Coast. Please book early and request for a non-pet room for next time. We hope to see you back next 4th or even sooner.

Price far exceeds value! Just an upgraded Motel 6.

Thank you for your feedback! We are centrally located on the beach with many more amenities as opposed to the Motel 6 in Lincoln City.

Old!

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was ok!
Cons: The rooms need to be updated!
Location: We did not find a lot to do there so we travelled around to other places!
We found it just too old! They never told us that there was a elevator when we checked in so we carried everything up three flights of old wooden stairs and we are not young! I would not stay there again!

Thank you for your feedback! We are an old hotel with very rustic and modern fresh features. Our photos clearly gives our guests the hotel description. Our stairs are made from concrete, not wood, which would rot in our Oregon Coast. We have many rooms of the same type on the first floor so a room transfer was an option if you requested to move to a lower level. We gave you a room on a high floor as requested to get a fantastic view of the beach.

Cons: A ceiling fan in the unit we had would be a nice addition.
Location: Blackfish Grill nearby was excellent. We enjoyed taking in a concert at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.
We had a small partial view room on the top floor facing South with a fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and we had several quiet nights sleep while there. It did get hot in the room by evening, but if you opened the windows and the door to the unit, a breeze helped it cool off. Since it was not a particularly warm period when we were there, I wonder how it might be during the heat of summer. Everything was in good shape and well maintained. Breakfast was rather the usual minimal items --- the one hot item which was biscuits and gravy suffered from way too much salt.

Great Hotel

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Our stay at the Coho was a wonderful experience. The hotel is very quaint and beachy, but nicely updated and very clean. The room, pool, and lobby are beautifully decorated. My family enjoyed the easy walk down to the beach and had fun exploring the tide pools. We also enjoyed the hotel's fire pit area. The Coho serves a great breakfast, and the staff was very friendly and gave great recommendation for places to eat dinner.

Pros: Outdoor firepits right next to the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast needs to include bacon and/or sausage.
Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast needs to include bacon and/or sausage. The breakfast provided included: lots of bread items, muffins, waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cut up fruit and cereals. Our grandson and granddaughter have allergies to gluten, eggs and dairy. The only choice for them was the fruit.
