Great location
The breakfast is quite good and included in the rate. The hotel location is fantastic, right in the centre of Oslo. However the room is really really small and the look and feel is that of an old cheap place

Location is superb! Bed was super comfortable; breakfast buffet was amazing! Our room was larger than we expected and with a lot of lightning and mirrors.

Friendly staff and great location
This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. The location is superb and the coffee in the lounge was appreciated. Breakfast was pleasant. I understand this isn’t a five star hotel and we didn’t need luxury as we were basically there to sleep and shower, however, the room was a little tired. There was a huge stain on the carpet by the bed and the toilet seat was broken. We were only there one night so it served our needs but these things would bother some people. The left baggage room was our of sight of reception and left unlocked as there had been a problem that day. Our belongings were fine but, again, this would bother many people

Overall a Disappointing experience
We booked this hotel along side others in the chain.for.our mini scandi tour and this has been the wordt experience i have ever had in a hotel. The air conditioning did not work and we were informed that it didn't work anywhere in the hotel therefore they eouldnt be changing the room so we had.to lrave window open except the kitchen fan equipment was outside our room so very noisy. Also the safe didn't work andwe had passports and medication thay needed to be secured. Maintenance chap tried to fix it but to no avail. Reception told.us that they couldnt give us a different room again as they didnt know which rooms had working safes were working so we could out it in their safe. It transpired to trying to collect the items one evenig they dod not have a safe and it was placed in a drawer! Took a while for night receptionist to locate it much to my terror. It transpires that the hotel is due to undergo renovations which are clearly overdue. Most expensive room on our trip and the smallest and least functional. Now at the scandi crown in gotteburg and the difference is nght and day thank god. I would like to say that the only redeeming part of our stay was the catering staff for the breakfast buffet were lovely and very accommodating. Food was very good.

The rooms are very small and air conditioning did not work both times we were there( at the end and beginning of our trip). Room was clean though but rooms are always very clean in Norway even in hostels which are a fraction of the price of this hotel!

Staff were all very good especially RaMaxan was excellent. Room needed air conditioning it was too hot . May be a small fridge. Very close to express train to Oslo airport. Very nice area and shopping centre. Lots of bars and restaurants.

Although the rooms were small, as you might expect for a city centre hotel in that price bracket, they were well kept and warm and the staff were lovely. There was under floor heating in the bathroom and the shower was the most powerful I've ever had.

Rooms were basic and clean. Breakfast buffet was amazing with many, many choices. The food was continually prepared fresh as items were enjoyed. The croissants were especially wonderful. We spent just one night in this hotel before we leave Oslo. It is very centrally located and you can walk in all main city attractions and the Oslo S station. The room is really small but for one or two days is ok. If you leave the window open you can hear the passing tram so if you are a light sleeper keep it in mind ( or ask for a room in a different section of the hotel) Reception and breakfast area good. There is an option for early check in at a charge of 150 Nok.

Terrible stay with no air condition
Worst night I’ve ever had at a hotel. My room was on the 6th floor and was super small. It could barley fit a queen size bed. The main problem was that there was no air condition in the room and they did not have an extra fan for me so it was a sleepless night. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The staff just suggested to open the window which was not safe at all because a big window with no safety strap is not okay. I had the window open but the noise from the street and the warmth made it impossible to sleep.

God beliggenhet på hotellet. Vanskelig med parkering da parkeringshus i nærheten var stengt. Dårlig utsikt fra rommet. Ellers grei frokost og hyggelig betjening. Ingen kjøleskap på rommet.

Highly recommended
Rooms were basic but very comfortable, especially the bedding - got consecutive good nights sleep, aided by blackout curtains. Excellent buffet breakfast; great quality and selection. Very tasty! And reception staff were so helpful, allowing me to store my luggage both on day of arrival and departure. Really convenient location for access to all the sights and a metro station very close. Bonus was not being in a street with trams running along, so nice and quiet. Highly recommend this hotel and I’d stay again without hesitation.

Everytime I go to Oslo I visit this hotel . Staff is very friendly , they allowed free early check in, when room is available of course , and they have the best breakfast. Excellent!

Better for single person
All was quite good. Perfect location, great service, very good breakfast, comfortable bed. But, the room is really too small for a couple. No chair. And, our bed was on a 2 inch high platform that went to the wall at the bottom and far sides of the bed, so there was no easy way to get in or out of bed from the far side - had to try to walk on the platform to not disturb my sleeping spouse.

The rooms are really small but I knew that going in so wasn’t a problem at all. By far the breakfast is what made our stay - it was Amazing! They do a terrific job with it. I am a vegetarian and there truly is something for everyone, meat eaters, vegans, there is even a gluten intolerant section. I would stay there again just for the breakfast. The location was also very convenient, close to any local transportation and also very easy to walk places.
