We chose this hotel because it wasn't far from where our Windstar cruise departed. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The location was walking distance to Gamla Stan and much of central Stockholm and the view of the harbor was spectacular. The breakfast buffet kept us going all day.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it had a great location right in the walking street with restaurants close by and was an easy place to maneuver from to see a lot of sights. The room overlooked the street which was quiet, secondary to no cars and it was well appointed and had a small sitting area, great bed and updated bathroom. It included a very nice breakfast and the staff was very helpful with tourist questions.

This is a perfect hotel for a short stay in Stockholm, located pretty centrally on Vasagatan. Getting there from the airport is convenient as the Arlanda Express takes you from the airport to the station in 20 minutes and you pretty much walk out from the station and into the hotel. The Fisk restaturant based at the hotel is not bad at all; beware that Sweden is expensive. It is also near burger/pizza joints for those who want fast food, and the waterfront, town hall etc are a reasonable walk away. The staff are friendly, the gym is well equipped though can get crowded with non-resident members, and has a small pool, sauna and Jacuzzi which are quite adequate.

Despite only staying in a small room overlooking a courtyard, as opposed to the water on the other side of the hotel, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Radisson. The pillows were unbelievably comfortable (probably made even more so due to me being very tired after an early morning Ryanair flight to Skavsta) and the room was really quiet. The interior decor was very tasteful, particularly the staircase, and the food in the restaurant was very good. On the whole, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

This hotel is located centrally, only 2 mins walking from the waterfront so it's really convenient if you want to explore the city on foot. Our standard room was interestingly decorated (the bathroom was beautiful) and quite big compared to what we expected. The beds itself were super comfy but not fixed together as one queen and could easily move what was annoying. We appreciated the complimentary water in the minibar which was refilled every day. The breakfast was basic and lacked warm buffet - no scrambled eggs, etc. However, definitely book a table for dinner - the restaurant is pricey but delicious! Overall, we really liked the modern decor of the whole hotel, the bar, speaking lift, unusual reception and super friendly staff.

The location of the Melody is in a park like setting so nice and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Marcus recommended some fabulous restaurants in the area (Ulla Win Bladh, Oaxen, Villa Godthem) and quick to answer any of our questions with a smile. The rooms are fabulous. I love the hardwood as opposed to gross carpet. The decor is fresh, modern and clean. The beds are super comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast that is included was amazing and consisted of a variety of meats and cheeses, pancakes, scrambled and boiled eggs, variety of breads, cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit salad. I have never seen a breakfast like this before, it was wonderful! The tram is right in front of the hotel, so very easy to get to the city center. Location is wonderful with attractions, museums and restaurants close by. I loved this hotel, one of the best I've ever stayed at and would definitely return!

Despite inclement weather we had a great time, our first time in Stockhom. Food was incredible (all on the advice of Jonathan the concierge) Museums, walks, parks, etc wonderful. Swedish culture and personalities are very warm and welcoming unlike some cities (like Vienna) that seemed to diss us as soon as they found out we were Americans! As if we are responsible for world affairs.
We love Sweden and plan to return..and to the Grand Hotel of course
