“Good Enough”

This hotel was very convenient to Okemo Mountain and some local restaurants. The hotel room was in decent shape and the bathroom was clean.

“Not impressed”

Faucet at bathroom sink was VERY difficult to use. Whole room needs a facelift.

“Okemo Weekend”

We stayed at the BW Ludlow for a ski weekend. It was a nice sized room with 2 double beds. Had a fridge and microwave which is convenient. The breakfast was standard "free" continental with waffle maker, pastries, hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc., which was good enough, but I have had better similar breakfasts at other hotels (more hot offerings, etc). We could not connect to the internet from our room to do work related things, but could from the office so we managed. The hotel was changing ownership that weekend, and it seemed like the previous owner was anxious to leave. Hopefully the new ownership will add a hot tub, which would have made the place perfect. Overall it was conveniently located to Okemo mountain, and had the basic amenities for a comfortable stayd...it was very quiet.

“Clean and close to Okemo what more did we need?”

We actually booked our stay while enroute to Ludlow/Okemo Mtn. In this case my last minute planning worked out well. We were able to check in early, drop our stuff and hit the mountain. This motel is only 1.5 miles to Okemo and the local shuttle stops right out front. The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom appears to have been renovated recently. Heat worked well for drying out out wet winterwear. Our time was limited at the hotel and we only noticed the fitness center on our way out. I will definately stay here again on our next trip to Okemo Mtn. next month.

“Badly in need of renovation”

While the owner was very friendly and accommodating, it did not offset our overall unhappiness with the room.. This motel is in a ski area and apparently there are challenges when customers wear their ski boots in the room - at least that's what we were told accounts for the sagging and squishy floor. This motel needs a major overhaul. We were also quoted one price by Expedia and were charged a higher price by the motel. They did have an excellent continental breakfast but the room was far too small to accommodate the number of guests.
