One night pet friendly hit

Posted Aug 23, 2014
the former red roof Inn .,now Days Inn offers spacious rooms with comfortable beds that's always pet friendly.. a quick hit on a road trip.. This is an old property that I stayed at when I was a kid when it was a Howard Johnson's ...it's changed through the years ...still needs a major rehab but it's fairly clean with comfortable bedding in a convenient location in central Vermont

Hotel close to Spartan arena

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: We appreciated the location and the fact that it offered a breakfast.
Cons: The hotel still needs to be modernized.
Location: The location is excellent, close to the Spartan arena, and shopping.
We were on our way to Castleton State College and needed a room for the night. The location was very convenient but the facility was a bit outdated and in the process of being renovated. The facilities were clean and comfortable but a little old.

Convenient location

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The staff.
Cons: New carpets?
Location: We were just passing thru.
Staff very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat. My g. son enjoyed the pool and the new mattresses are really comfy. However, the room had a musty? chlorine? smell that while it was not a deal breaker, I think perhaps the carpets need to be replaced. Convenient location for our stop over.

Hotel isn't far from Killington Ski Resort!

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: The Staff was Super Friendly It felt like home!
Cons: Internet service isn't the best BUT its free!
Location: Location is great Close to Killington ski resort. Very close to all kinds of food there is a hannafords right across the street
I have nothing Bad to say about our stay here! 100% About the Guest comfort no doubt about that! Rutland has lots of great food to offer when you stay here. We spent 3 weeks in this hotel, the owners put him in a very comfy room for his stay, Had a refrigerator Microwave and TV. Hotel was very clean. They are in the process of renovating but no noise or hassle when getting into the room. Staff is super nice and friendly It feels like home. Short distance away from Killinton Ski Resort and A beautiful drive too! I Recommend this hotel to everyone!

Average hotel

Hotel staff very helpful. Had swipe key issues and A/C did not provide cold air. Felt it to pricy for the type of hotel.

I am glad that the staff was helpful. We did have some problems with our key card machine which has since been repaired. We are working on upgrades and maintenance of each room. We recently bought all New Beds and 42'Flat Screen TVS. I hope that you will come back to enjoy those new improvements.

Horrible service

Posted May 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is not kept very clean and the service given by the employees is terrible. The woman who checked me in forgot to actually put me into the system so around 11, while I was sleeping (I work overnights), I was bothered by the maids and security to go to the front desk. I was almost forced to have to pay then and there for the nights I was staying even though I paid on hotels.com. The next day I was woken up again because the hotel was changing over from non-HD tvs to HD. I was not warned ahead of time and the manager at the front desk demanded I leave my room so the contractor can put in the new TV even though I told her I was in the middle of sleeping. There are much better hotels on the same street, don't waste your time with this one.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I hope that you will come back to enjoy the Brand New Beds, and The Brand New 42" Flat Screen TVS, We also have added a new breakfast item "Oatmeal" which is turning out to be quite popular. We hope to see you in the near future.
