“Would stay there again”

Located right on Route 7, near a busy shopping center off of a busy highway. Hotel personnel were great, gave us recommendations for restaurants and directions to Norman Rockwell museum. We stayed there because we love the extensive breakfast buffet, and we were not disappointed....omelets, waffles, hot oatmeal, nice selection of fruit and baked goods. Only negative...the heating system was noisy, kept coming on and off all night, and was irritating. The beds, however, are super comfy!

“Welcomin, clean and convenient.”

Staff friendly and welcoming. Room spacious and very clean. Breakfast choice and quality very good. Convenient for shops and restaurants. All in all very good value for money in this day and age.

“Happy times at the Hampton Inn”

We spent 3 nights here as we skied at Killington for the Holiday weekend. It was very close to the mountain 12-15 minutes.. and a nice separation from the "scene". Our room, I sighed of relief and knew it was going to be a good weekend. The room smelled wonderful after being freshly cleaned and had a simple modern decor. The room was pristine and the white linens on the bed and in bathroom very crisp. I am a 'neat freak'... so i had my clorox wipes and Lysol ready! No joke & I honestly did not even feel even the slightest need to use any of these products in which i usually 'christen' every hotel room I stay in with. The bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was just right. The fresh brewed coffee was great... the make your own Belgian waffle station was excellent, although the line accumulated fast being a popular item that takes a few minutes to make.. but worth the wait. They always offered fresh fruits, cereals, hot/cold, breads and pastries, and of course a nice protein like eggs with a side like sausage or potatoes etc. They changed the selection day to day which was also very nice. The hotel for the most part was quaint and very quiet, but at times you heard doors slam or kids running in the hallways.. but its common and normal.. especially for kids. There are ALOT of stores right next door to the hotel, a Michaels, and sporting goods store, grocery store etc...very convenient I highly recommend. :)

“Very nice place to stay”

We were very pleased with the facilities, staff, and breakfast. This was our first stay at a Hampton Inn. If they are all like this, we will go out of our way to stay at this one or another.

“Nice place to stay for a short ski trip”

The Hotel offers a great breakfast buffet. We loved the make your own waffle station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were located on the first floor near the pool which was great for our son. Also it is quieter on the first floor. The staff is very hospitable they brought us refrigerator within minutes. It's a nice place to stay for winter skiing at Pico and Killington.

“Great Hampton Inn”

Rutland is a very small town......the reason we stayed at the Hampton Inn was because we flew into Rutland on a Sunday evening and couldn't rent a car! Nothing's open on Sundays, apparently. So I was looking for a place to stay near the airport so we could go back out on Monday morning to get a car. The Hampton Inn exceeded my expectations. The staff was very, very nice, welcoming, and offered to help in any way they could. The beds were ULTRA comfortable, coffee maker in the room, free breakfast. A nice indoor pool for my kids to swim in, grocery store, Taco Bell, etc., within walking distance so we carless could get some supplies......the only thing I could complain about was the noisy air conditioner in the room. One of those incredibly loud units that sits under the window. Oh well, it made enough white noise that my kids slept really well. I would definitely stay here again.

“Hampton Inn in Rutland, VT”

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good in the morning. The people working the breakfast area in the morning were very helpful, very nice and very accommodating. I would certainly recommend this hotel. The only minor thing I would note - would be the fact the indoor pool is very small - and no hot tub. If there are 4-5 kids in the pool area - it gets crowded quickly.
