Great breakfast but broken faucet

Posted Feb 23, 2015
I stayed one night, the room was ok, nothing fancy, I would expect more for the price. The faucet in the bathroom was broken. Breakfast and hot tub was the best.

Hotel is a wreck. Charges obscene price.

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Foul smell in hallways. Ice machines don't work. Heat doesn't work. Water leaks in the ceilings. Breakfast area had sections roped off because of collapsed ceilings. All tables were filthy. Catchup. Syrup. Crumbs. Spilled food everywhere. Piles of empty pizza boxes in all the common areas that were left nearly half the days from drunken, loud college age people. People screaming in the halls at 3am. Hungover kids bragging publically about fights they were in the night before. Not really what I want my 9 year old girl listening to at the breakfast table. Shower water turned completely off mid shower. Heat in rooms didn't work. Pool was filthy. For the money charged, it was almost criminal. Seems as if no money was put into upkeep and maintenance of the hotel since the 1960s.

Great Location

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Location and the size of the place, Great main lobby fireplace.
Cons: Room carpets, drapes and furniture need upgrading.
We have stayed here several times over many years and really like the location. This place could be a 4 or 5 star hotel if the owners would just put money in upgrades. Our room was clean but the wear on some items was clearly showing. Take my advise owners, you could have one of the nicest places to stay in Killington if you just spend some money.

Do not stay here!!!

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: The only thing good about this place is the location
We checked in and went to the room the first thing that stood out were brown stains on the sheets. We called the front deck to have them changed and they said they has nobody available to change the sheets on the bed to clean ones. After calling the front desk two more times they finally came up with a new set of sheets that we had to put on our selfs. Not to mention they said they couldn't find a clean blanket or comforter (not that anyone uses those anyway). Let's also not forget to mention that we were not given clean towels the next day. That was another ordeal with the front desk. The breakfast was horrible and would've rather eaten cardboard. I would NEVER stay there again no matter how cheap the room costs.

Convenient after a day on the slopes

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Convenience to mountain and restaurants
Cons: Common areas were outdated and not very clean
Honestly this was one of the cheapest rooms I could find near the mountain during the holiday week at a week's notice. I was not looking for anything fancy and just wanted somewhere close to the mountain and restaurants in the area. The room was clean though the bed was pretty tired. The hotel bar was pleasant enough. Apparently the food is not too bad either though my wife and I did not eat there. Overall I was happy with the stay and would consider staying there again for a quick overnighter. I would probably spring for something a little nicer if I were staying longer.

Not worth it

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Lobby and bar area are cozy and fun
Cons: new bedding- better water pressure in shower
Location: great location- very close to mountain
Although the lobby and staff were nice- the rooms are just not comfortable. You just feel dirty.

Disappointing hotel in central Killington

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Cons: change the windows in the rooms, light the fire at all times in high season, redo the changing rooms at the pool
Location: Good location for access to restaurants
Rooms were very old fashioned, basic, you could feel cold air through the windows. Very noisy. No cosy place in the hotel: fire places were not lit. Appalling state of the changing rooms and lockers at the pool

Nice location but needs help

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Just had a 3 day stay and have been a long time customer. I know the place is a bit run down but it's clean and central to skiing and dining/bars. This trip the inn ran out of hot water during my shower the internet service was very slow and the ice machine was a rusted out non working hulk. In my mind that's 3 strikes if you are a serious skier spending 6 hours on the mountain. The front desk while polite blamed the cold water and slow internet on high demand. I was there the weekend before Christmas - have to wonder about their Christmas week plan is?
