Quaint but sparsePosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
First the fun - B&B is in a nice quiet location in a town you can walk around safely. There are several places to eat within walking distance. The B&B is also a gift shop of odd collectibles. I believe it is open for tea on weekends. Now the tough - The room itself had no TV and the shared room TV did not work. Make sure you bring a three prong adapter for computer cord and a long extension. There are only a few electrical outlets. The bathrooms are shared. i had no idea where to find towels and the owner was no where to ask. I would not stay there again.

Arbour Rose ReviewPosted Jun 15, 2013
I had a lovely time at the Arbour Rose Bed and Breakfast. The host was warm and friendly and my breakfast was simple and delicious. Especially great coffee, too. This B & B is also just steps from downtown Chester: yummy food and a magical indie bookstore.

Very comfortablePosted Apr 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was clean, with a queen-sized bed. The linens were very comfortable: soft and cozy. Pillows were perfect. The room with a view was a ways away from the bathroom, but robes were provided, which was a nice touch. We were the only guests, so sharing a bath was not an issue as it might have been otherwise. Suzy was very pleasant and breakfast was quite tasty. We would stay again if in the area.

Very convenient to Okemo. Several nice restaurants near by. Lovely gift shop where you find something wonderful during breakfast.

"budget" stay is the keywordPosted Feb 18, 2013
Cons: dust and bugs
Location: 20+min drive to Okemo, nearby MacLaomainn's Scottish Pub-great bangers&mash & scottish beers, and The Old Town Farm Inn-fantastic Japanese food.
It's a budget hotel, i get that. Shared bathroom, ok. But woke up and had to use the restroom, someone was in the restroom taking their time. Thankfully found out there was a bathroom all the way downstairs in the back corner. moth in bedroom, dead lady bug and fly. Dust and cobwebs in bathroom and a dead plant. Adequate for a budget rental, sheets seemed clean, slept well, but it leaves something to be desired, even minimally. No lock on our bedroom door. Cats and dogs around, so be careful if you have allergies. The cable is "not working" not sure if that's been the situation for a while, since they've refused to pay for it? That was our guess. Seemed somewhat like we were in a creepy movie/an episode of hoarders. Breakfast doesn't start till 8 am, that's when the slopes open, so we didn't stick around for what we heard was likely to be meager anwyay. Seems like this Inn is an afterthought to the owner's "tea room" and old knick knack shop.
MuseumPosted Feb 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Suzannes pancakes are the best I have eaten so far in the US. And she made some extra for me. :-) the place familiary and I felt a little like ina museum. Suzanne has lots of small and bigger old porcelans that fit well to the old house of 1890. It takes you to a different world...

Great hidden treasure in Chester VT!Posted Dec 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
This little B&B was amazing! The pricing was great, the building was unique and well-kept and the innkeeper, Suzanne, is a new friend! Don't question it, just go here!
