“Charming B&B”

Enjoyed a lovely night here. The B&B and quaint "English style" tea-room downstairs provide a very welcoming atmosphere. The exterior has seen better days but inside the room was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely return.

“OK Bed and Breakfast”

The room was clean but no TV, which is fine, but it was almost too quiet in the house as we were the only guests the first night. Breakfast was good, but small. I've had much better experiences at bed & breakfasts in Vermont, for only a bit more money... Chester is a cute town but it's very very quiet in the evenings.

“"budget" stay is the keyword”

It's a budget hotel, i get that. Shared bathroom, ok. But woke up and had to use the restroom, someone was in the restroom taking their time. Thankfully found out there was a bathroom all the way downstairs in the back corner. moth in bedroom, dead lady bug and fly. Dust and cobwebs in bathroom and a dead plant. Adequate for a budget rental, sheets seemed clean, slept well, but it leaves something to be desired, even minimally. No lock on our bedroom door. Cats and dogs around, so be careful if you have allergies. The cable is "not working" not sure if that's been the situation for a while, since they've refused to pay for it? That was our guess. Seemed somewhat like we were in a creepy movie/an episode of hoarders. Breakfast doesn't start till 8 am, that's when the slopes open, so we didn't stick around for what we heard was likely to be meager anwyay. Seems like this Inn is an afterthought to the owner's "tea room" and old knick knack shop.

“disappointing stay”

A tired generally unkept paint peeling inn. We did not feel it lived up to our expectations.
