“Great place to stay”

It is a family own place. The service was great - very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. The room is clean and the whole place is very homey. The location is convenient. 20 minutes to Woodstock and 15 to Rutland, 10 minutes to Appalachian Trail.

“Good Deal”

We stayed at this hotel over MLK weekend and were very satisfied with the service. The front desk personnel were very welcoming and the actual room was clean and cozy, the bathroom was a little dated, but overall definitely a good deal for the price. The hotel has a hot tub and heated pool which are key after a day outdoors. The game room, pub and close proximity to the ski resorts were also nice pluses. I plan on staying here on my next trip to the area.

Comfortable and friendly experience, the hotel was great compliment to my snowboard trip.

“No hot water after skiing!!”

Hotel is a little dated but for a ski lodge not out of character. Bathrooms could use a little updating. The two deal breakers were: 1. After skiing there was no hot water in the rooms from 5:30-8pm. THis happened both nights we were there. We finally gave up after waiting till after 8pm and took cold showers before we went out to dinner. No excuse for this and after a day on the slopes a nice hot shower is not to much to ask. 2.Both beds in the room were old and sagged. Very hard to get a good nite's sleep.
