The motel is pretty basic, but very nice for what you'd expect from a motel. Breakfast in the mornings (cereal, donuts, coffee). Quiet, clean, competent staff.

15 minutes away from the American Precision MuseumPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: It was close to the American Precision Museum.
Cons: The service at the front office.
Location: It is near Windsor which has the American Precision Museum and the Harpoon Brewery.
This motel was only 15 minutes away from the museum and was inexpensive. It had a bed and a bathroom, which is all most guys need. It had other things but I only needed the TV and alarm clock. If you are seeing the model engineering show at the museum and are looking for a roof over your head...this is the place.

Does the job, too much moneyPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Clean, nice staff, easy check-in and check-out, space heaters available.
Location: I didn't really do anything in the area. It was about half an hour to Dartmouth.
The room had a bed and the other items usually expected. It served its purpose as a place to sleep, and was clean enough, although it had an odd odor. Beyond that, there is little to say. The price was far too high for what was received. I couldn't find a hotel in the area (and I was looking at a very broad area) that I considered a reasonable price, so I went with this one as it wasn't too terrible and was close enough to where I intended to go. I figured I'd paid enough that it would be a bit of a splurge, maybe have some extra amenities that I ordinarily wouldn't pay for, etc. This was not the case. For 1/3 the price, this would be a perfectly fine place to stay the night.

"24 hour clerk on duty".Posted Oct 6, 2013
Cons: Tear down, rebuild with better owners and management.
Location: Was conducting business, not interested in tourist happenings.
I had a problem logging onto their wifi, went to the office which was only about 15 minutes after I check in at 2:30 pm with a young female clerk, had very hard time understanding her due to her Far East accent, found the office door locked, rang bell as listed, an older woman came and let me in, she could not speak one word of ENGLISH, not one. After using sign language I was able to get her to contact via cell phone to call me at my room. She did and said she could not assist me until about 7:00 p.m. After about 1 hr. I finally entered their internet site, tried to use the room phone, no listed instruction, attempted with no luck to contact office. Went back to office, same thing, door locked, older non speaking English woman appeared, wrote a note to the young girl, went back to room. Room when first entered smelled of cigarette smoke and musty, I observed chairs outside each room with a butt can, people sit and smoke there w/the room door open permitting smoke to enter rooms. Very dirty room, very poor lighting, only 3 light bulbs in the entire room, could not shave left side of face, not enough light to see what I was doing, none at writing desk, bad office type chair at desk which was broke, indication along baseboards water had been present at one time causing the musty smell, would not walk on dirty carpets without either having shoes or a pair of socks on. This motel appeared it belonged in a 4th world country and should be torn down and start again.

Good staff, good servicePosted Jul 22, 2013
Though I couldn't leave room by the check out time due to the tight schedule, a staff allowed us to stay a little bit longer. The motel is not new (so it's better not to expect too much for facility) but their service was great.

Motel owner was very accomodating. Will definitely stay again. Motel is conveniently located just off of Highway 91 and only 30 minutes from Okemo!

Chose something else.Posted Dec 31, 2012
Pros: Parking lot was clean from snow
Cons: Two towels for three people, cold and old.
Location: Close to highway, but far from Okemo mt
There were three people in our family - two adults and a child. We were charged an extra person 5$ a night, but got only two towels. We stayed 3 nights. Over this time nobody cleaned the toilet. Motel advertizes breakfast 7-10 am. We were leaving after 7 every day, but office was still dark. Don't count on this breakfast! First night we stayed, the room was so cold, we didn't want to take off coats. Next time I will look for other place.

Inspite of negetive reviews this motel was very clean. We spent two quiet nights. Amenities are not plush and a little over priced for what you get. All in all we were satisfied. Some lanquage barrier.

Clean but bad pipingPosted Feb 23, 2012
Pros: clean, free wifi
Cons: lack of heat
Location: good if you need to be in Claremont, NH
I couldn't turn on the heater so everything was cold. Plus pipes in the bathroom rattled all night. Pretty clean though
